The Duke is out for revenge against Charlie, and hires Bill Hopkins (Cyril Cusack), Charlie's son, to help him perform a hit, with an intention to frame the kid. The Duke's plan doesn't work out, since Bill turns out to be an even better safecracker than his old man. Here, he is boarding with a married couple, Joyce and Bernard, and conflicting with his Dutch-Australian next door neighbour, Jim Lawson, played by Russell Newman. External scenes were shot in Auburn Road, Auburn NSW with 191 Auburn Road serving as Joyce, Bernard and Eddie's home.
