Season 1

The second season of One Million Star , a Taiwanese televised singing competition, began on July 20, 2007. Similar to the first season, the competition started with 100 participants, and most of the contents and rules remained unchanged. Altogether 28 episodes were aired.

<i>Project SuperStar</i> Singing competition show in Singapore

Project SuperStar is a singing talent search competition organised by MediaCorp and broadcast on Channel U in Singapore. Project SuperStar was organised to uncover and develop young talent in Mandarin pop in Singapore. Closely modelled after the Pop Idol, 24 contestants were selected to enter the Quarter Finals of the competition. For both seasons, it was hosted by Quan Yi Fong and Jeff Wang. Episodes were pre-recorded, and broadcast on Wednesday for male contestants, while episodes on Thursday feature female contestants. Season 3's Live-telecast will begin on 18 August 2014 and the finale is set to be on 26 October 2014. It is announced that Dasmond Koh, Jeremy Chan and Shane Pow will be the hosts for the third season.

<i>One Million Star</i> Taiwanese TV series or program

One Million Star is a television singing competition in Taiwan broadcast on China Television (CTV). It debuted on 5 January 2007, filling the 10 pm to midnight time slot on Friday evenings. The show is hosted by Tao Ching-Ying (陶晶瑩) and is currently shown on Sundays from 8 to 10 pm. The aim of the show is to gather talented young singers and find the one who has the best qualities to become a superstar. One Million Star launched the music careers of Mandopop artists such as Yoga Lin, Aska Yang, Wong JingLun and Jam Hsiao.

Yoga Lin Youjia is a Taiwanese singer. He was the winner of One Million Star, Season 1, a reality TV singing competition in Taiwan during his study at National Dong Hwa University. During the competition, he once contemplated quitting due to the elimination of his good friend, Eddie Tsai (蔡政霖). However, show producers persuaded him to maintain his composure and regain his determination, attaining five rounds of perfect scores continuously after that – an unbeatable record up to now. After winning first place in Season One, he was signed by HIM International Music along with three fellow contestants, Judy Chou (周定緯), Peter Pan (潘裕文) and Stanly Hsu (許仁杰). <i>Singer</i> (season 1) Season of television series

I Am a Singer is a Chinese version of the Korean reality show I Am a Singer and it is broadcast on Hunan Television. The show's first season premiered on January 18, 2013. The competitions was divided into five rounds, and the final phase having three episodes which was not included in the Korean version, giving the series a total of 13 episodes. Each round features seven singers performing in front of 500 public audiences to judge. The first episode of each round doesn't has any singer eliminated, but subsequent episodes will eliminate one singer, which was decided on which singers received a lower count of votes, while a new singer will substitute the eliminated singer in the following episode.

<i>Singer</i> (season 5) Season of television series

Singer 2017 was the fifth season of the Chinese television series of the rebranded version of I Am a Singer. Due to the banning of Korean-related brands and artists in China, the series went with a rebranding under a simplified title of Singer, but otherwise retained similar competition format from the past four seasons of I Am a Singer. This is the only season in which no singers doubled their roles as the hosts, and He Jiong, who hosted the finale after a year's absence, served as the host.

The Voice is a Chinese-speaking Malaysian-Singaporean reality talent show and a version of The Voice format created by John de Mol. The series premiered on 17 September 2017 on Mandarin Chinese-language Singaporean channels StarHub TV and E City as well as on a Mandarin Chinese-Language Malaysian channel, Astro AEC.
