Opelbad is a lido situated on Neroberg in Wiesbaden, Germany opened in 1934. A foundation established by the Privy Councilor Wilhelm von Opel funded the construction of this summer pool on Wiesbaden's own hill, Neroberg, in 1934. The swimming pool is designed in the Bauhaus style, with water temperatures of at least 24 degrees. The 14,500 square metre swimming pool grounds on Wiesbaden's own hill is operated by mattiaqua and offers a view above the city.

Krause Springs (Crow-zee) is a camping and swimming site located in the Hill Country of Texas. It is located in Spicewood, Texas, approximately 30 miles (48 km) northwest of Austin. The 115-acre (0.47 km2) property has 32 springs, and several feed the man-made pool and the natural pool which flow into Lake Travis. Two springs feed the 70' by 20' swimming pool at a rate of 70 gallons per minute at a temperature of about 70 degrees.

The Kroger Hills Camp for Anemic Children was established and run by the Cincinnati Anti-Tuberculosis League to promote health for children who lived in poor areas of Cincinnati, and had been exposed to tuberculosis but did not have the disease. The camp was run during the summer months in the years 1914-1942. It was known as "Bamford Hills Camp" from 1914 to 1917, and in 1918 was renamed "Kroger Hills Camp". The camp program included daily exercise, a healthy diet, sun baths for Vitamin D, and other healthful lessons/activities. The intent was to teach the children a healthy lifestyle, with the hope that they would continue their lives with these habits.
