Orlando Productions is a French record label, owned by Bruno Gigliotti, brother of Egyptian-Italian then French singer Dalida, for whom he used to be the manager. In the late 1960s, he founded the Orlando label as a vehicle to release and to control Dalida's musical output.
Like many other French artists, Dalida used to be under contract at Barclay Records, owned by producer/composer Eddie Barclay. Bruno Gigliotti worked as an art director at the label.
Orlando's own record label carried several names, such as International Show and Orlando International Show (sometimes the plural of 'show' was used). The label was distributed by Sonopresse in France, and by other companies in the rest of Europe (such as Omega International/Dureco in the Benelux and RCA Victor in Italy).
From 1970, the Orlando International Show(s) produced recordings from Dalida. After her death in 1987, Orlando continued to control her record releases, mostly re-issues, greatest hits anthologies and live recordings.
In the late 1990s, the Orlando label was renamed BG Productions.[ citation needed ] It also released works by other French artists, such as Hélène Ségara since 1996,[ citation needed ] Indra since 1990 and Cerena since 2003. In 2011, Bruno received the Chevalier de l'ordre des Arts et des Lettres from French culture minister Frédéric Mitterrand.
Iolanda Cristina Gigliotti, professionally known as Dalida, was a French singer and actress, born in Egypt to Italian parents. Leading an international career, Dalida sold several million records around the world. Her best known songs are "Bambino", "Gondolier", "Les enfants du Pirée", "Le temps des fleurs", "Darla dirladada", "J'attendrai", "Le jour où la pluie viendra", "Gigi l'amoroso", "Salama ya salama", and "Paroles, paroles" featuring spoken word by Alain Delon.
Édouard Ruault, better known as Eddie Barclay, was a French record producer whose singers included Jacques Brel, Dalida and Charles Aznavour. He founded record label Barclay.
"Those Were the Days" is a song credited to Gene Raskin, who put a new English lyric to the Russian romance song "Дорогой длинною", composed by Boris Fomin (1900–1948) with words by the poet Konstantin Podrevsky. It deals with reminiscence upon youth and romantic idealism. It also deals with tavern activities, which include drinking, singing and dancing.
"Paroles, paroles" is a song by French singer Dalida featuring French actor Alain Delon. It was released on 17 January 1973 as the lead single from her upcoming album Julien (1973). Lyrics describe the conversation of a man offering a woman caramels, bonbons et chocolat followed with shower of compliments, to what she says they mean nothing to her because they are just paroles – empty words. The song achieved big success in France and internationally, especially in Japan and Mexico, becoming one of the most recognizable French songs of all time. The first video clip was released in 2019, over 46 years after the songs's release.
Le temps des fleurs is the twenty-first studio album by French singer Dalida. Named after the title song, it was first released in 1968 and became her penultimate album to be released under Barclay Records.
This album of Dalida coincided with several changes in her career: the 1970s were coming, her label was no longer Barclay Records but her brother Orlando's International Shows, and she was also changing her style to a more mature adult contemporary music. The success of this album is the proof, exemplified by the Greek folkloric summer hit "Darla dirladada", "Ils ont changé ma chanson," and "Lady d'Arbanville".

"On n'oublie jamais rien, on vit avec" is a 2003 song recorded by French artist Hélène Ségara and Italian singer Laura Pausini. It was the third single from Ségara's third studio album, Humaine, on which it features as ninth track. Released in November 2003, the song was a success in France, Belgium and Switzerland, remaining to date one of the most successful single of both singers in terms of chartings.
