Tiago Splitter Beims is a Brazilian former basketball player and current coach. He is currently an assistant coach for the Houston Rockets of the National Basketball Association (NBA). A three-time All-EuroLeague Team selection prior to his NBA career, he became the first Brazilian-born player to win an NBA championship, in 2014, as a member of the San Antonio Spurs.
Pablo Prigioni is an Argentine-Italian former professional basketball player, currently serving as an assistant coach for the Minnesota Timberwolves. He played the point guard position, and was a member of the senior Argentina national basketball team that won the bronze medal at the 2008 Summer Olympics. Hamady Barro N'Diaye is a Senegalese professional basketball player for Nanterre 92 of the LNB Pro A. A 7-foot tall center, N'Diaye played college basketball for Rutgers University and was a second-round selection in the 2010 NBA draft.
Dāvis Bertāns is a Latvian professional basketball player for the Oklahoma City Thunder of the NBA. Nicknamed the "Latvian Laser", he also represents the Latvian national team. He was the 42nd pick in the 2011 NBA draft by the Indiana Pacers.

Stauskas, whose family is of Lithuanian heritage, is a member of the Canadian national team.
Ricardo Julio Ledo is an American professional basketball player who last played for AEK Athens of the Greek Basket League and the Basketball Champions League. He committed to play for the Providence Friars, but the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) ruled him academically ineligible to play during his freshman season in 2012–13. Ledo never played for the Friars that season, and at the end of the year he declared he was entering the 2013 NBA draft.
Thon Marial Maker is a South Sudanese-Australian professional basketball player for the Fujian Sturgeons of the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA). He attended high school at Orangeville District Secondary School and played basketball for Canada's Athlete Institute. He was picked 10th overall in the 2016 NBA draft, and played for three different NBA teams between 2016 and 2021.
Jordan Tyler McRae is an American professional basketball player for AEK Athens of the Greek Basket League and the Basketball Champions League. He played college basketball for the Tennessee Volunteers, and was drafted 58th overall in the 2014 NBA draft, by the San Antonio Spurs. He is a 1.96 m (6'5") tall shooting guard-small forward. McRae won a championship with the Cavaliers in 2016. McRae set the NBA G League former single-game scoring record (61). After spending time in the G League and overseas, McRae signed with the Wizards in 2018. In March 2020 McRae signed with the Pistons, his most recent NBA team to date.
Mamadou N'Diaye is a Senegalese professional basketball player who last played for Correcaminos UAT Victoria of the Liga Nacional de Baloncesto Profesional (LNBP). He played college basketball for UC Irvine, where he was the tallest basketball player at the NCAA Division I level, standing at 7 ft 6 in (2.29 m).

The 2022 NBA draft, the 76th edition of the National Basketball Association's annual draft, was held on June 23, 2022, at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. The 2022 edition marked a return to the draft's normal June date after postponements were made in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This draft was the first of at least three straight NBA drafts that consisted of only 58 picks instead of the typical 60 due to the loss of a second-round pick for both the Milwaukee Bucks and the Miami Heat for violating the NBA's tampering rules during free agency. The first pick was made by the Orlando Magic, who selected Paolo Banchero from Duke. Banchero went on to win Rookie of the Year.
Hugo Besson is a French professional basketball player for FMP Meridian of the Basketball League of Serbia (KLS) and the Adriatic League. He debuted in the LNB Pro A in 2018 with Élan Chalon. After two seasons with Chalon, he was loaned to Saint-Quentin BB of the LNB Pro B and led the league in scoring in the 2020–21 season. After a season with the New Zealand Breakers in the Australian NBL, he was drafted by the Indiana Pacers with the 58th overall pick in the 2022 NBA draft.
