PDXLAN is the largest computer LAN Party event in the American Northwest. The main event occurs twice per year, at the Clark County Event Center in Ridgefield, Washington.
The twice annual events run 4 days, typically across a weekend. Attendees' ages range greatly from young children to, in some cases, senior citizens.

A sound chip is an integrated circuit designed to produce sound. It might do this through digital, analog or mixed-mode electronics. Sound chips normally contain things like oscillators, envelope controllers, samplers, filters and amplifiers. During the late 20th century, sound chips were widely used in arcade game system boards, video game consoles, home computers, and PC sound cards.
A LAN party is a gathering of people with computers or compatible game consoles, where a local area network (LAN) connection is established between the devices using a router or switch, primarily for the purpose of playing multiplayer video games together. The size of these networks may vary from as few as two people, to very large gatherings of a hundred or more. Small parties can form spontaneously and take advantage of common household networking equipment, but larger ones typically require more planning, equipment, and preparation.

Chinese Heroes is an online video game, currently in production. The project is being sponsored by the Communist Party of China. The game is being designed in direct competition for World of Warcraft. Although World of Warcraft is popular, the CPC does not support violence. Chinese Heroes is meant to show values such as patriotism and altruism.

Aaha! Gold Cup is an annual international football (soccer) tournament held in Pokhara, Nepal, and organized by the Sahara Club. It was formerly known as the Caravan Gold Cup,however due to sponsorship reasons it is currently known as the Aaha! Rara Gold Cup. It is considered a major football tournament in Nepal, and is therefore endorsed by ANFA Kaski, a district FA of the All Nepal Football Association.

The IIHF 12 Nations Invitational Tournament Series was held in Vierumäki, Finland, Courchevel, France, and Füssen, Germany. The competing nations will be the national women's teams. This is a new tournament introduced by the International Ice Hockey Federation. The goal is to close the large gaps in skill between countries by providing more competitive opportunities. The eight competing countries in Vierumaki, Finland are Canada, United States, Finland, Sweden, Russia, Switzerland, Slovakia and Japan. France, Germany, Norway and the Czech Republic also played in a mini-tournament simultaneously in Courchevel, France. Teams from Group B and C played in the tournament held in Füssen.

Tangail stadium also called as Tangail Zila Stadium is located at Club road, north side of Bhashani Hall and Tangail Eid-gah, 200 metres away and west side of Shaheed Sriti Poura Uddan( Bengali: শহীদ স্মৃতি পৌর উদ্যান ) in the district of Tangail, Bangladesh. It is a multipurpose stadium. Cricket, football, concert and cultural programs take place here. Until 2013 the stadium was the home ground of Team BJMC which played in Bangladesh Premier League Football.
The 2018 season was St. Patrick's Athletic F.C.'s 89th year in existence and was the Supersaints' 67th consecutive season in the top-flight of Irish football. It was the seventh year that Liam Buckley is the team's manager, following replacing Pete Mahon in December 2011. Buckley resigned from his post as manager on 25 September with assistant Ger O'Brien taking over for the remainder of the season. It was the first year of the new format of the League of Ireland Premier Division where by there will be 10 teams playing each other 4 times, twice home and twice away. On 19 December 2017 the fixtures were announced with Pat's down to play champions Cork City on the opening day of the season on 16 February 2018.
