Wowowee is a Philippine noon time variety show that was aired by ABS-CBN from 2005 to 2010. The show premiered on February 5, 2005 and aired live on weekdays and Saturdays. The show was also broadcast worldwide through ABS-CBN's The Filipino Channel. The show officially ended on July 30, 2010 and was replaced by a new variety show, Pilipinas Win Na Win, the following day.

MTB or Magandang Tanghali Bayan and Masayang Tanghali Bayan was a noon time variety show broadcast by ABS-CBN. The show was aired on Weekdays and Saturdays and was also broadcast worldwide through The Filipino Channel. The show was known for its many formats and host changes over the years that it was broadcast. "MTB" is the third longest running noon time show of ABS-CBN after Eat Bulaga! (1989–1995) and Wowowee (2005–2010), staying on air for 4 years, 2 months and 22 days. Other MTB incarnations stayed on air for only a year before "Wowowee" eventually took over.
Boy & Kris was a Philippine morning talk and lifestyle show of ABS-CBN. The show is hosted by Boy Abunda and Kris Aquino aired on weekday mornings. On February 13, 2009, it aired its final episode and it was replaced by Ruffa & Ai.

Pilipinas Got Talent is a Filipino reality talent competition show on ABS-CBN network that began on February 20, 2010. It is based on the Got Talent franchise, a British TV format conceived and owned by Simon Cowell's SYCO company. "Pilipinas" is the Filipino word for Philippines. Anyone can join and showcase their talents in the audition. At the sound of four buzzers from the judges, the auditionees are asked to stop their act. With at least three yes from the judges, they are automatically in the list for Judges Cuts, where judges have to pick only 36 acts that will move to the semi-finals. Acts will compete against each other in order to gain the audience support to win the prize money and the title of Pilipinas Got Talent.

Game ng Bayan is a short-lived Philippine game show hosted by Robin Padilla and Alex Gonzaga, with Eric Nicolas, Mary Jean Lastimosa and Negi. It premiered on ABS-CBN and worldwide on The Filipino Channel, replacing Kapamilya, Deal or No Deal. It aired weekday afternoons at 5:00-5:45pm. This was the fourth localized Kapamilya game show after Pilipinas, Game KNB?, Panahon Ko 'to! and Celebrity Playtime.
Variety shows had become mainstays of the noontime slot of a network's programming in the Philippines. The longest-running noontime variety show is Eat Bulaga! which celebrated its 39th anniversary last July 30, 2018.
