SS Mission Santa Clara was a Type T2-SE-A2 tanker built for the United States Maritime Commission during World War II. After the war she was acquired by the United States Navy as USS Mission Santa Clara (AO-132). Later the tanker transferred to the Military Sea Transportation Service as USNS Mission Santa Clara (T-AO-132). She was a Mission Buenaventura-class oiler and was named for Mission Santa Clara de Asís in Santa Clara, California.

HNLMS <i>Poolster</i> (A835)

HNLMS Poolster was a replenishment ship serving with the Royal Netherlands Navy. Poolster entered service on 29 June 1964. In 1994 she was decommissioned and sold to the Pakistan Navy where the ship was renamed Moawin. A later replenishment ship Zuiderkruis was based on Poolster. In the Dutch navy she was replaced by the replenishment ship Amsterdam. She was the first ship in the Dutch navy with inbuilt protection against radioactive fallout.

PNS Moawin (A39), is a fleet replenishment tanker currently in service with the Pakistan Navy. Designed by the Turkish firm, STM, she was built and constructed by the Karachi Shipyard and Engineering Works in Karachi, Pakistan. Moawin is noted for its displacement, being the largest warship ever built in Pakistan.

On 10 March 2005, PNS Moawin (A20), a replenishment ship launched as HNLMS Poolster in 1963 and transferred to Pakistan in 1994, caught fire while undergoing maintenance at Karachi Naval Dockyard. At least 53 people died, including nine officers, 34 sailors and 10 civilians and 59 people were injured, including three officers, 23 sailors and 33 civilians.
