Vasilis Nakis, better known by his stage name Papercut, [1] is a Greek musician and songwriter. He is known for his electronic music and his remix of Melina Merkoyri's song "Agapi pou gines dikopo mahairi". Before launching his solo project, he was a member of the Greek bands Winter Watercolours and Monitor. [2]

As he has mentioned in an interview, he came up with his stage name in 2000, after suffering a papercut. "I held on to the name, as a reminder of all those minor things that hurt us a lot", he said in an interview. [3]

Gym Class Heroes were an American rap rock band from Geneva, New York. The group formed in 1997 when Travie McCoy met drummer Matt McGinley during their high school gym class. After the addition of guitarist Disashi Lumumba-Kasongo and bassist Eric Roberts in 2003, the group was signed to Fueled by Ramen and Decaydance Records, on which they released their debut album, The Papercut Chronicles.
