Parque Asturias was a multi-use stadium in Mexico City, Mexico. It was initially used as the stadium of Asturias F.C. and Atlante F.C. matches. It was replaced by Estadio Azteca in 1966. The capacity of the stadium was 25,000 spectators.
On March 1, 1936, being president José Díaz Bernardo, opened Parque Asturias with a match between Asturias and Botafogo Brazil. This stadium, with its capacity of 25,000 spectators, marked a new era for sport in Mexico. It was built in what is now called Apricot Causeway. Deportivo Neza also known as Coyotes is a Mexican football team. The club was founded in 1978 when the city of Ciudad Neza bought the Club de Fútbol Laguna franchise. The club has played in various leagues in Mexico. The club played from 1978 to 1988 in the first division before the club was sold and moved to Tamaulipas and renamed Correcaminos UAT. Club Deportivo Euzkadi was a Basque football club, that played in the 1938–39 season of the Liga Mayor in Mexico. It was formed when the Basque Country national football team, which had been touring the world, was refused permission by FIFA, to play any more FIFA affiliated teams due to political issues arising from the Spanish Civil War.
