Kent was a Swedish alternative rock band formed in Eskilstuna in 1990. With members Joakim Berg, Martin Sköld, Sami Sirviö and Markus Mustonen, the band had numerous radio hits throughout Sweden and Scandinavia and consecutive number-one studio albums on the Sweden top list (Sverigetopplistan) beginning with the release of Verkligen (1996) and led by the single "Kräm ". "Some Die Young" is a song by Swedish singer-songwriter Laleh, taken as the lead single from her fourth studio album, Sjung. It was released in Scandinavia on 22 January 2012 through Warner Music Sweden, and in Germany on 30 August 2013 through Universal Music Germany. The pop song was written and produced by Laleh, and comes after her appearance on Swedish reality television show Så mycket bättre. Lyrically, the song discusses the loss of a loved one but also the need not to give up following this and holding out hope that things will eventually get better. Musically, the backdrop of the song contains swooping melodies and an upbeat tempo. The song has been credited as an unofficial soundtrack for those who lost people in the 2011 Norwegian attacks, with newspaper articles, university lectures and a number of fan videos to this effect emerging.
Daniel Savio, is a Swedish electronic musician, composer and DJ. He is recognized as the originator of the genre term skweee, describing the sparse electronic music style initially released on Scandinavian record label Flogsta Danshall. With their release of the single "The Bubble Bump" in 2006, the label also debuted Daniel Savio's solo material.

He has been nominated at the Norwegian Spellemannprisen twice times: for Hit of the Year in 2015 with "Samsara 2015"; in the same category in 2020 with "Dance"; and for Best EDM Artist in 2019 at the Swedish Grammis. Tungevaag's has over four billion worldwide streams on his music and received several gold and platinum certifications in several countries. It is currently ranked #81 on DJ Mag's Top 100.

"Angels Ain't Listening" is a song by Swedish musician Basshunter, released as a single on 29 May 2020 by Central Station Records, nextBird Records, Planetworks, PowerHouse, Roton, Teta Records, and Yeni Dünya Müzik. It was written by Basshunter, Jimmy Joker, Thomas G:son, and Bilal Hajji, and produced by Jimmy Joker. "Angels Ain't Listening" is Basshunter's first song he sings in seven years. It shows his emotional side and was inspired by the pop music of the 1980s. It peaked at number 27 on the Swiss Dance Chart.
