The Pedernales River is a river that forms the southernmost part of the international boundary between the Dominican Republic and Haiti.

It is built on the shores of the Bay of Manzanillo. In the westernmost part of the Dominican Northwest.
Artibonite Valley is a valley predominantly in Haiti, on the island of Hispaniola. The Artibonite River flows through the valley, with headwaters in the Dominican Republic as well.
