The Constitutional Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan is the supreme constitutional court of Uzbekistan. It is currently led by Lieutenant Colonel Khakim Mukhitdinov. Its main campus is located in Yunusabad.

Major General Pavel Ismailovich Ergashev is an Uzbek military leader who is a Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Uzbekistan. He was appointed to this position on 11 January 2018 and was dismissed in March 2021. He is the son of former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Major General Ismail Ergashev. He was among 12 high-ranking officials were banned from entering the European Union for a year in November 2005 for their role in putting down the 2005 Andijan unrest. At the time, he was a Colonel who commanded of a detachment of from the Ministry of Defense. On 4 September 2017, he was appointed by Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the post of Acting Deputy Minister of Defense and commander of the troops of the Southwestern Special Military District.

Temurbek Military Schools are militarized boarding schools in the Republic of Uzbekistan for boys of 14–18. They were founded by decree of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on 28 June 2019, in a resolution "On additional measures to improve the system of military-patriotic education of young men and training of a personnel reserve for the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan and public service". Education in these schools focused on military related subjects. The school system consists of military senior high schools within the Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Internal Affairs and Ministry Emergency Situations, as well as the State Security Service and the National Guard.

Bernara Rakhimovna Karieva is a Soviet and Uzbekistani former ballet dancer, prima ballerina, choreographer and politician. She was prima ballerina of the Navoi Theater from 1956 to 1996 and its artistic director between 1994 and 2002. Karieva ran the Youth Ballet of Uzbekistan community from 1979 to 1983 and chaired both the Union of Theater Workerds and the Coordinating Council for South-East Asian theaters. She was an elected deputy of the Congress of People's Deputies of the Soviet Union from 1989 to 1991 and was on the Committee of the Commission of the Council of Nationalities on the Development of Culture, Language, National and International Traditions, Protection of Historical Heritage. Karieva has received various state awards such as the Order of the Badge of Honour, the People's Artist of the USSR, the USSR State Prize and the Order of the Red Banner of Labour.

He has a large social media following: as of October 2022, his Telegram channel has over 487,000 subscribers. In 2019, the Internet publication Sof selected Xudayberdiyev as the best blogger of the year.

The Uzbekistan cough syrup scandal was a series of poisonings that resulted in the deaths of 18 children in Samarkand and two more children elsewhere in Uzbekistan. It was caused by the drug Dok-1 Max produced by the company Marion Biotech Pvt. Ltd. which operates in India. As a result of laboratory studies, the toxic substance ethylene glycol was found in the composition of the drug. The Indian government opened a case against Marion Biotech, while the Uzbek authorities opened a criminal case against several members of the health system and the employees of the hospital where the children died.

Said otaliq madrasah is a two-storey madrasa building located in the center of the city of Denov, Surxondaryo Region. It was built by master architect Ahmad Mamat Buxoriy under the patronage of Amir Haydar's father-in-law - Sayyid Ataliq - in the 19th century.
