deLillos is a Norwegian poprock band formed in Oslo in 1984. They are generally regarded as one of the "Four Greats" in modern Norwegian pop music, i.e. one of the four 1980s groups that founded a new tradition for rock music with lyrics in Norwegian. Johannes Sløk was a Danish philosopher, professor at the University of Aarhus and founder of "Idéhistorie", an interdisciplinary discipline mainly about writings pertaining to the ideas of Western culture since Antiquity. The concept is now the "Department of Philosophy and History of Ideas" a department under the faculty of humanities of Aarhus University. During the student rising of 1968, Sløk was forced to leave his position as professor at Idéhistorie, and the institute became oriented around the Marxist theory. Sløk instead was granted a special position at the Department of Theology, as professor of analytic theology. Sløk was one of the four Aarhus theologians and wrote a series of books on religion and its meaning to the modern man.
Villy Sørensen was a Danish short story writer, philosopher and literary critic of the Modernist tradition. His fiction was heavily influenced by his philosophical ideas, and he has been compared to Franz Kafka in this regard.

MGP Junior is a Danish song contest for children aged 8 to 15. It originated in 2000 as a spin-off of Dansk Melodi Grand Prix, before coming the national selection for the now-extinct MGP Nordic in 2002 and from 2006 to 2009. From 2003 to 2005, MGP Junior was Denmark's national selection for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, a pan-European version of the format. The songs are performed primarily in Danish and written by the participants themselves. Many past contestants have gone on to be renowned recording artists, such as 2002's Morten Fillipsen, 2003's Anne Gadegaard, and 2014's Emma Pi Hedeboe.

De Gyldne Laurbær is a Danish literature award, which was established in 1949. The award is handed by The Committee De Gyldne Laurbær, formerly Boghandlerklubben. The prize is given annually in February or March. Originally the award was a laurel wreath, a golden pin with an inscription, some money and a book gift worth 2500 DKK. Today the award is a laurel wreathe, a diploma and a book gift worth 2500 DKK. The award is handed at a ceremony arranged by the publishing house which has published the winning book and by the Committee De Gyldne Laurbær. Early in January every year the committee sends out ballot to all the Danish bookshops, which then give their vote for a Danish book which was published the year before. An author can only win The Golden Laurel once-in-a-lifetime, so the bookshops can not vote for an author who has already won the prize once before. The winner is usually one of the bestsellers among the Danish books. On the day when it is decided who wins the Golden Laurel, the president of the Committee of The Golden Laurel informs the winner about the award, while journalists follow the event.
Rolf Graf was a Norwegian singer, bass guitarist, composer and record producer, and the younger brother of keyboardist Haakon Graf and the jazz singer Randi Elisabeth Graf. He is best known as the bassist in the band Lava, but was also recognized as music producer, musician and songwriter for other artists like Randy Crawford, Mezzoforte and Sissel Kyrkjebø. He also released three solo albums and was editor of the journal "Musikkpraksis".
