Petru Toarca (born on October 4, 1975, Ozerne, Izmail Raion, Odesa Oblast, Ukraine [1] ) is a male freestyle wrestler from Romania. He participated in Men's freestyle 55 kg at 2008 Summer Olympics. In the 1/8 final he lost and was eliminated by Besarion Gochashvili from Georgia.

He largely grew up on the North Shore of Suffolk County, Long Island, New York. Graduating from Rocky Point High School, and briefly attending Nassau Community College. He earned All-American honors, placing 6th at the NJCAA, National Collegiate Championship in 2020.
