The Physical Education Association of the United Kingdom (PEAUK) is a former leading body in the United Kingdom for physical education. It was founded in 1899 as the Ling Association.

In 2006 PEAUK joined with The British Association of Advisers and Lecturers in Physical Education (BAALPE) to become the Association for Physical Education (AfPE), becoming the UK's only Physical Education subject association.

James Watkins is Professor of Biomechanics in the College of Engineering at Swansea University, Swansea, Wales UK (2002–2014). During the period 2000–2009, Professor Watkins was Head of the Department of Sports Science and Director of the Sport and Exercise Science Research Centre. Professor Watkins was formerly at Jordanhill College, Glasgow, Scotland, UK (1974–1993) and at the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, Scotland, UK (1993–2000). He is an advisory board member of the Journal of Sports Sciences.

The Royal Norwegian Air Force Academy (RNoAFA) is the Norwegian Air Force's college which conducts officer training for the RNoAF and the Norwegian Armed Forces. The school was established in 1949 and is one of the Armed Forces´ three military academies. The two others are the Army Academy and the Naval Academy. The students at the Armed Forces´ Academies are referred to as cadets and have full salary during education. The cadets at the RNoAFA have their own association, the Cadet Society (Kadettsamfunnet).
