Pizzolungo is a small Italian seaside village in western Sicily. It is situated just north of the city of Trapani. Pizzolungo has white, sandy beaches and hills and cliffs surround the coastline, making for a scenic view. It is the ancestral home of the Infante family.[ citation needed ]

Air Midwest Flight 5481 was a Beechcraft 1900D on a regularly scheduled passenger flight from Charlotte Douglas International Airport in Charlotte, North Carolina, to Greenville–Spartanburg International Airport in Greer, South Carolina. On the morning of January 8, 2003, the Beechcraft stalled while departing Charlotte Douglas International Airport and crashed into an aircraft hangar, killing all 21 passengers and crew aboard and injuring one person on the ground.

The Pizzolungo Bombing was a car-bomb attack on 2 April 1985 undertaken by the Sicilian Mafia in order to kill Carlo Palermo, a magistrate in Pizzolungo, Sicily. Palermo had been investigating an international drug and arms trafficking network in which Italian politicians may have been involved. Palermo was injured in the attack and three passersby were killed: Barbara Rizzo and her young twin sons, Salvatore and Giuseppe Asta.

Our Lady of Good Health Church, is a Marian shrine built in the Indo-Dravida style that opened in 2005 in Medan, Indonesia. It is devoted to Our Lady of Good Health, a Marian apparition dating from the 17th century in Velankanni, Tamil Nadu. The shrine is two floors high and has a small seven-floor tower in the Indonesian style. It is located on Jl. Sakura III, beside Jl. Simatupang. It is an important pilgrimage site in Asia.
Krambatangi is the ferry port of Suðuroy in the Faroe Islands. The ferry MS Smyril M/F disembarks 2–3 times daily from Krambatangi to Tórshavn. Krambatangi is located on the southern side of Trongisvágsfjørður halfway between Trongisvágur and Øravík, opposite of Tvøroyri. The ferry port was earlier on Drelnes, which is a few hundred metres further east of Krambatangi. But in 2005 a new ferry arrived, which was much bigger than the prior one, and therefore required a new ferryport at Krambatangi. Krambatangi does not belong to the municipality of Tvøroyri, and there have been some disagreements between the Tvøroyri municipality and Strandfaraskip Landsins (SSL) because they didn't pay harbour dues for entering the port of Tvøroyri. The Faroese court decided, that SSL ought to pay for entering the port of Tvøroyri, but SSL appealed the verdict.
The Arco Naturale is a natural arch on the east coast of the island of Capri. Dating from the Paleolithic age, it is the remains of a collapsed grotto. The arch spans 12 m at a height of 18 m above ground and consists of limestone.
The Villa Monacone is located on the island of Capri, Italy. Situated near Pizzolungo and the Faraglioni rocks, its name derives from its location, which faces the Faraglioni's Monacone rock formation. The architectural style is unusual for a Capri villa. Built into the mountain's rocky slope, the columns and cross vaults opening by the porch connects with interior rooms rather than with the kitchen, the more common layout for a Capri villa. The German novelist, Monika Mann, lived at Villa Monacone with her friend, Antonio Spadaro, from 1954 to 1986. The Romanian historian Mircea Eliade stayed at one time in an annex of the villa.
