Planting a Better future is an organization of Headstart School (Pakistan) [1] A'Level Branch and was founded by Mohammad Ibrahim Khan [2] in 2009. It is currently organized by [3] Mohammad Ibrahim Khan. Ibrahim is currently studying Law at the University of Warwick.

Projects

Around 30 students from the group planted around 200 trees along Margalla road in Islamabad, Pakistan it got media attention [4] from City News [5] an English newspaper that has audiences in Rawalpindi, Islamabad, and Peshawar and is owned by The News International. In total the society has planted around 5000 trees.

Margalla Hills National Park

Margalla Hills National Park is a national park located in Islamabad Capital Territory, Pakistan. The park includes the Margalla Hills, which form's the foothills of the Himalayas, along with Shakarparian Park and Rawal Lake. Established in 1980, Margalla Hills National Park covers approximately 17,386 hectares (67.13 sq mi). Tilla Charouni with a height of 1604m is tallest peak in the park. Margalla Hills are a tourist destination, with Daman-e-Koh and Pir Sohawa serving as popular hill stations, while Shakarparian Cultutal Complex and Lake View Park are popular picnic spots. The park is rich in biodiversity, especially rich in Sino-Himalayan fauna, most notably gray goral, barking deer and the Leopard. Combined MHNP is home to around 600 plant species, 250 bird varieties, 38 mammals and 13 species of reptiles. PTDC is currently constructing a chairlift project in the park.

Margalla Hills mountain range

The Margalla Hills is a hill range which is part of the Himalayan foothills located within the Margalla Hills National Park, north of Islamabad, Pakistan. The Margalla range has an area of 12,605 hectares. The hills are a part of Murree hills. It is a range with many valleys as well as high mountains.

Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET) is a private institute of education in associate engineering in Lahore and Rawalpindi, Pakistan. IET had awarded engineering degree's from year 2000 to 2005 with collaboration of Allama Iqbal Open University. Now It offers diploma of associate engineering in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical and Civil technology.

Lalkurti, is a locality in the heart of Rawalpindi cantonment in Pakistan. Places with the same name are also found in many other garrison cities of Pakistan and India, such as Peshawar, Lahore, Kanpur, Ambala, Meerut and Delhi.

Algeria–Pakistan relations Diplomatic relations between the Peoples Democratic Republic of Algeria and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan

Algeria–Pakistan relations are excellent. Pakistan was one of the first countries to recognize the Provisional Government of Algerian Republic and its Mission was opened in Karachi, the then capital of Pakistan in 1958. Both sides have convergence of views on issues of international importance. Both countries have also been supporting each other in various multilateral forums including UN, OIC and NAM. Algeria has an embassy in Islamabad and Pakistan has an embassy in Algiers.

Germany–Pakistan relations Diplomatic relations between the Federal Republic of Germany and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan

German–Pakistani relations are the diplomatic and bilateral relations between Germany and Pakistan. Succeeded by the historical British Raj strong ties in the 1910s–40s, the relations were fully established in the 1950s, which were primarily based on mutual friendship, cultural, and mutual cooperation in social, education, and economic developments. Relations with Pakistan were first established by West-Germany and later on by East Germany with East-Pakistan, also in the 1950s.

The Planning Commission is a financial and public policy development institution of the Government of Pakistan. The Commission comes under Ministry of Planning, Development and Reforms. The Planning Commission undertakes research studies and state policy development initiatives for the growth of national economy and the expansion of the public and state infrastructure of the country in tandem with the Ministry of Finance (MoF).

Fouzia Saeed Pakistani activist

Fouzia Saeed is a social activist, gender expert, trainer/facilitator, development manager, folk culture promoter, television commentator and author. She is the author of two well regarded books. Her first book is an ethnographic look at prostitution in Pakistan, TABOO!: The Hidden Culture of a Red Light District. Her second book, Working with Sharks: Countering Sexual Harassment in our Lives, was an autobiographical exposé on sexual harassment in the United Nations and the revenge meted out by the UN management she and 10 other women faced for making their case.

Shahid Kamal Pakistani diplomat

Shahid Kamal is a retired Pakistani career diplomat. Over his career he worked in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Prime Minister’s Office, United Nations, Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and diplomatic Missions in Paris, New York, Washington, Stockholm and Berlin. He retired from diplomatic service in January 2012.

Adil Omar is a recording artist, rapper, record producer, singer and songwriter from Islamabad, Pakistan. He released his debut album and film, Transcendence, on 8 July 2018, and announced his sophomore album, Mastery, for a 2020 release. In addition to being a solo artist, he is also one half of the pop songwriting and production duo SNKM.

Akhtar Jamal, is the founder and editor-in-chief of Pakistan Press Agency(PPA) and Tele-Visual Infolink. He is also a Special Correspondent of Bridges TV, USA and Channel News Asia (CNA-Singapore).

Transport in Lahore

There are several modes of transport available in Lahore.

Mohammad Ali Talpur(Urdu: محمد علی تالپر‎) is a well known contemporary Pakistani artist. He is considered as the only minimalist artist in Pakistan because of his linear drawings. He is teaching at National College of Arts and works at his studio in Lahore. His works has been exhibited in national and international art galleries like Art & Public gallery, Geneva, XVA gallery, Dubai,Finsbury Park, England, Shanghai art fair, 2007, Dubai Art Fair, 2008 and Hong Kong art fair, 2008.

Zari Sarfaraz Pakistani politician

Begum Zari Sarfaraz was a noted early political activist and committed social worker of North-West Frontier Province, Pakistan.

I-11, Islamabad Sector in Islamabad Capital Territory, Pakistan

I-11 is a sector of Islamabad, Pakistan. It is currently a lightly built area, located on the southwestern edge of the city. I-11 borders Rawalpindi to the south and neighbors I-10 and I-12, while sectors H-10, H-11 and H-12 are located adjacent. CDA has recently taken the possession of land from illegal encrochers and land grabbers and development work has started to handover the possession to original owners of the plots.

Hakla–Dera Ismail Khan Motorway road in Pakistan

The Islamabad–Dera Ismail Khan Motorway, also known as the Brahma Bahtar–Yarik Motorway, is a four-lane North-South motorway currently under-construction in Pakistan. The 285-kilometre-long (177 mi) motorway is being developed as part of the Western Alignment of the China–Pakistan Economic Corridor, and will offer high speed road connections between the Islamabad-Rawalpindi metropolitan area, and the southern parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province around Dera Ismail Khan.
