Plants vs. Zombies is a Dark Horse comic book series written by Paul Tobin and drawn by Ron Chan as an adaptation of the video game of the same name. [1] The story revolves around pre-teens Nate Timely and Patrice Blazing as they use the plant army of the latter's Uncle Dave to take on the forces of Dr. Edgar Zomboss and his minions. Published digitally to the mobile app Plants vs. Zombies Comics, [2] it was later published physically. [3]
The comics received positive critical reception, and the comic's original characters would later be adapted to the video game Plants vs. Zombies 3 .

In the 2024 video game Plants vs. Zombies 3 , soft-launched from 2019 to 2023, Patrice Blazing and Nate Timely were made available as playable characters, the game following Patrice returning from summer camp to find zombies to have taken over Neighbourville on putting her uncle Dave in a coma. [9]
