Poor Moon is an American indie folk band, formed in Seattle in 2012, composed of Christian Wargo, Casey Wescott and Ian and Peter Murray. [1] Poor Moon is a side project of Wargo and Wescott who are current members of Fleet Foxes, [2] they remain full members of Fleet Foxes while maintaining their separate project with Poor Moon. [3] Poor Moon are signed to record label Bella Union (UK) and Sub Pop Records. [4] The band Poor Moon are named after lead singer Christian Wargo's favourite song by Canned Heat. [5] The band's debut EP, Illusion, was released in March 2012. [6] [7] [8] [9]

Sun Giant is the second EP by American band Fleet Foxes, released on April 8, 2008, by Sub Pop and Bella Union. While the EP was released prior to their debut album, Fleet Foxes, Sun Giant was recorded after the LP. Sun Giant was originally intended to be a tour only release, but demand from fans led to its official release. Fleet Foxes had stated that Sun Giant was pressed so that they had something to sell on tour, and clarified that the music was not indicative of their ambitions. Despite this, the EP met with wide critical acclaim; it was named the #1 album of the year by Pitchfork in conjunction with their debut LP.

The Fleet Foxes is the debut EP by American band Fleet Foxes, self-released in 2006. Sold by the band at local shows in Seattle, only 50 copies were made. It was released in the fall of 2006 around the Seattle area, and its success led to the eventual signing to Sub Pop records. The album was produced and recorded by veteran Seattle producer Phil Ek. It was remastered and reissued in 2018 as part of the First Collection 2006–2009 boxed set.
