Posey Field is an unincorporated community located in Winston County, Alabama, United States. The community was founded c. 1950 and has a population of 74.

In law, an unincorporated area is a region of land that is not governed by a local municipal corporation; similarly an unincorporated community is a settlement that is not governed by its own local municipal corporation, but rather is administered as part of larger administrative divisions, such as a township, parish, borough, county, city, canton, state, province or country. Widespread unincorporated communities and areas are a distinguishing feature of the United States and Canada. Winston County is a county of the U.S. state of Alabama. As of the 2010 census, the population was 24,484. Its county seat is Double Springs. Known as Hancock County before 1858, the county is named in honor of John A. Winston, the fifteenth Governor of Alabama.

Two churches are located within the Posey Mills community, Posey Mills Baptist Church and Sunny Home Baptist Church.

The Posey Field community is located within Winston County, therefore county garbage pickup is provided. The community is served by the Haleyville Fire Department as well as the Pebble Volunteer Fire Department.

Some of the community is also in Franklin County, including Posey Mill Baptist Church and adjoining cemetery.
