The Prime Minister Cup was a Go competition.
The Prime Minister Cup ran from 1961 to 1981. It was used by the Nihon Ki-in The first 18 titles were decided in a knockout tournament. The last two years, the format was changed to a best-of-three match between finalists from a large knockout.
The Nihon Ki-in (日本棋院), also known as the Japan Go Association, is the main organizational body for Go in Japan, overseeing Japan's professional system and issuing diplomas for amateur dan rankings. It is based in Tokyo. The other major Go association in Japan is Kansai Ki-in. Its innovations include the Oteai system of promotion, time limits in professional games, and the introduction of issuing diplomas to strong amateur players, to affirm their ranks.

The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom is the head of government of the United Kingdom. The Prime Minister directs both the executive and the legislature, and together with their Cabinet are collectively accountable for their policies and actions to the Monarch, to Parliament, to their political party and ultimately to the electorate. The office of Prime Minister is one of the Great Offices of State. The current holder of the office, Theresa May, leader of the Conservative Party, was appointed by the Queen on 13 July 2016.

The Atatürk Cup was a football competition in Turkey. In 1955, the Turkish Football Federation named the competition in honour of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. Five clubs took place in the first edition: Beşiktaş, Fenerbahçe, Galatasaray, Adalet, and Vefa. Adalet won the first edition, with Fenerbahçe coming in second. The second edition was played in 1963, with Fenerbahçe winning the first of two cups. The third edition was played between the winners of the Prime Minister's Cup and the Presidential Cup in 1998 to memorialize the 60th anniversary of Atatürk's death. Fenerbahçe beat Beşiktaş 2–0 to win the second title. The fourth and last edition of the tournament was played as a de facto Super Cup in 2000. As Galatasaray won the double that season, the runners-up of the Turkish Super League (Beşiktaş) became their opponent. Beşiktaş defeated Galatasaray 2–1.
The Prime Minister's Cup was a football competition organised by the Turkish Football Federation in Turkey. It began in 1944 and continued until 1950 as a unique kind of super cup competition between the winners of the Turkish Football Championship and the Turkish National Division. It was one of the earliest super cups in the world. In 1966, the Turkish Football Federation restarted the competition as a final game between the winners of the second division and the Turkish Amateur Championship and maintained this system until 1970. From 1971 to 1998 the competition was contested between the runners-up of the Super League and the Turkish Cup.
Rosenblum Cup is an Open Teams event held every four years as part of the World Bridge Championships. The event was added to the world championships in New Orleans in 1978 to commemorate Julius Rosenblum, who served as president of the World Bridge Federation (WBF) until 1976. In the 2011 Cricket World Cup, the knockout stage was the second and final stage of the World Cup, following the group stage. The top four teams from each group advanced to the knockout stage to compete in a single-elimination style tournament. A third place playoff match is not included in the tournament. The one-over eliminator was introduced into One Day International cricket at the 2011 Cricket World Cup knockout stage where a game ending in a tie would be decided via a one-over eliminator. With their victory over Zimbabwe, Sri Lanka became the first team to qualify for the Quarter-finals of the tournament.

The Prime Minister's Cup is an annual football competition in Laos, first established in 2003 to provide a platform for teams outside of Vientiane to compete against those in the Lao League In addition to encouraging the development of football across Laos, the cup is also intended to encourage regional players to take their place in the national team and to celebrate the National Day of Laos on December 2.
The Cricket Association for the Blind in India (CABI) is the apex body conducting cricket for the blind across India, having inherited responsibility in 2010 from the former Association for Cricket for the Blind in India (ACBI). Registered in 2011 as a non-profit organization, CABI is affiliated with the World Blind Cricket Council (WBCC) and promotes blind cricket both as a rightful pursuit and as a platform for the physical and social development of the visually impaired. Financial support is received from a range of public- and private-sector organizations.
