Robert Anthony Benten is vice president and treasurer of The New York Times Company as of November 2003. He became treasurer of the Times Company in November 2001. Previously he served as assistant treasurer since September 1997 and as director of treasury since January 1997.
Before that, he held various positions at the Company including: manager of finance and pension investment, 1993-1996; supervisor of financial analysis and pensions, treasury department, 1992-1993; senior financial analyst, Forest Products Group, 1991-1992, and financial analyst, treasury department, 1989-1991.
Prior to joining the Company, Benten was an accountant at Deloitte & Touche LLP from 1987 to 1989.
Benten received a B.S. degree in finance from Louisiana State University in 1985 and earned an M.B.A. degree from Rice University in 1987, with concentrations in accounting and finance.
The Department of the Treasury (USDT) is the national treasury and finance department of the federal government of the United States, where it serves as an executive department. The department oversees the Bureau of Engraving and Printing and the U.S. Mint. These two agencies are responsible for printing all paper currency and minting coins, while the treasury executes currency circulation in the domestic fiscal system. The USDT collects all federal taxes through the Internal Revenue Service; manages U.S. government debt instruments; licenses and supervises banks and thrift institutions; and advises the legislative and executive branches on matters of fiscal policy. The department is administered by the secretary of the treasury, who is a member of the Cabinet. The treasurer of the United States has limited statutory duties, but advises the Secretary on various matters such as coinage and currency production. Signatures of both officials appear on all Federal Reserve notes.

Denise Lynn Nappier is an American who served as Connecticut State Treasurer, from 1999 to 2019. She is the first African-American woman elected to statewide office in the history of Connecticut, the first woman elected State Treasurer in Connecticut history, and the first African-American woman elected to serve as state treasurer in the United States. In 2011, she was named to the Connecticut Women's Hall of Fame.

Robert Rudolf Glauber was an American academic who was a lecturer at Harvard's Kennedy School of Government and a visiting professor at the Harvard Law School. He was the former chairman, president, board member and chief executive officer of NASD, and Under Secretary of the Treasury for Domestic Finance from 1989 to 1992. Glauber was executive director of the task force appointed by President Reagan to report on the 1987 stock market crash. He was also a director of Moody's Corporation, a trustee of the International Accounting Standards Committee Foundation; and director of XL Capital Ltd. Glauber had been a senior advisor at Peter J. Solomon Co., an investment bank, since November 2006 and was a member of the Committee on Capital Markets Regulation. He received his degrees from Harvard College and Harvard Business School.

Bayne Norrie, played for the Edmonton Eskimos for 8 years and participated in three straight Grey Cups from 1973 to 1975 and won one Grey Cup with Edmonton in 1975. Bayne had an illustrious college football career at Queen's University and was inducted into the Queens University Sports and Football Hall of Fame in 1983.
Stacy L. Garrity is an American politician, businesswoman, and soldier. She is currently serving as Pennsylvania Treasurer as a Republican, a position to which she was elected in 2020. She previously served in the United States Army Reserve for 30 years and through three deployments during the Gulf War and Iraq War, where she was called "The Angel of the Desert" by other US military officers. She left the Army Reserve in 2016 at the rank of colonel. Garrity worked at Global Tungsten & Powders Corp. from 1987 to 2021, where she reached the level of Vice President. In 2019, Garrity entered politics and ran for the Republican nomination for a special election in Pennsylvania's 12th congressional district, but lost to Fred Keller, who went on to win in the general election.
