RSQ was a Slovene music magazine published monthly from 13 May 2007 through 13 December 2009.
At first, RSQ was only a digital/internet magazine that tried to fill the gap in Slovenian music magazines.
Its first issue was published on 13 May 2007. It came out regularly every 13th of the month for a year and a half. On 22 May 2008, RSQ was printed for the first time in honor of its first year of existence.
The Slovene group Sphericube released its first album, Jugda, with the issue. Two concerts under the name RSQlive were made due to the release. The public in Ljubljana (Gala Hala) and Maribor (Jazz klub Satchmo) was able to see Sphericube and the first two concerts by Adam (a group made by members of Srečna mladina, Gušti & Polona and Anavrin). The issue included a list of the "50 Best Albums in Independent Slovenia". 13 January 2009 the magazine started to publish monthly printed magazine. It was made by a group of young journalists, photographers and media people who tried to cover Slovenian and foreign music scene. In February 2009 they published The Days That Follow ..., the third album by a group Multiball. In March, Against the Gravity by Elvis Jackson, in April the debut album by Corkscrew, in June debut album by BRO and in November album Muzej revolucije by Zabranjeno Pusenje. The last issue of RSQ was published on 13 December 2009.
RSQ also helped promoting the first Slovenian internet concert by a group Kamerad Krivatoff.
The magazine featured interviews, CD and concert reviews, musician portraits, discographies.

Murat & Jose are a Slovene hip hop duo of writers, producers and MC. Both were born in 1978 in Ljubljana, Slovenia where they still live. Together with Nikolovski they performed for some time under the name Nedotakljivi. Together they published one of their first releases on the first Slovene hip hop compilation 5'00" of Fame za narodov blagor.
Q was a popular music online magazine. Originally published in print in the UK from 1986 to 2020, it was inactive from 2020 until 2023. In 2023, Q was revived as an online publication. It was founded in 1986 by broadcast journalists Mark Ellen and David Hepworth, who were presenters of the BBC television music series The Old Grey Whistle Test. Q's final printed issue was published in July 2020, but began posting new articles to their website in 2023 before being fully relaunched in 2024.

Garnet Crow was a Japanese pop/rock band formed in 1999 and associated with the Giza Studio record label. Members include Yuri Nakamura, Hitoshi Okamoto, Nana Azuki, and Hirohito Furui, with Nakamura leading on vocals. Music produced by Garnet Crow has its roots in the neo acoustic genre, and representative works include "Flying", "Yume Mita Ato De", and "Spiral". Despite prolific early singles, the band neither performed live nor appeared on TV prior to 2002.

CMJ Holdings Corp. is a music events, online media company and a distributor of up and coming music CDs, originally founded in 1978, which ran a website, hosted an annual festival in New York City, and published two magazines, CMJ New Music Monthly and CMJ New Music Report. The company folded around 2017, but was bought by Amazing Radio in 2019 who announced plans to bring back the CMJ Music Marathon in New York, along with other new live and live-streamed offerings. The letters CMJ originally stood for College Media Journal but was also often considered short for College Music Journal.

Pearl Jam is an American rock band formed in Seattle, Washington, in 1990. The band's lineup consists of founding members Jeff Ament, Stone Gossard, Mike McCready, and Eddie Vedder, as well as Matt Cameron (drums), who joined in 1998. Keyboardist Boom Gaspar has also been a touring/session member with the band since 2002. Jack Irons, Dave Krusen, Matt Chamberlain and Dave Abbruzzese are all former drummers for the band. The Jonas Brothers are an American pop rock band. Formed in 2005, they gained popularity from their appearances on the Disney Channel television network. They consist of three brothers: Kevin Jonas, Joe Jonas, and Nick Jonas. Raised in Wyckoff, New Jersey, the Jonas Brothers moved to Little Falls, New Jersey, in 2005, where they wrote their first record that made its Hollywood Records release. They starred in the 2008 Disney Channel Original Movie Camp Rock and its 2010 sequel, Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam. They also starred in their own Disney Channel series Jonas, which was rebranded as Jonas L.A. for its second season. Martina Majerle is a Croatian singer of mixed Croatian and Slovenian descent. Majerle represented Slovenia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 in Moscow, Russia with the string quartet Quartissimo with the song "Love Symphony". It competed in the second semi-final but failed to reach the final. Martina has also been a backing vocalist for several countries in various editions of the contest.
The Finance Business Daily is the only daily Slovenian business and financial newspaper. The idea to publish it had already been proposed by Iztok Jurančič before 1991, when Slovenia declared its independence. However, it was realized only in 1992. At first, the newspaper was published by the company Gospodarski Vestnik. Today, it is published by the Časnik Finance company, which is owned by the Swedish Bonnier Group and also publishes several other publications; for example, the magazines Manager and Moje finance, the healthcare newspaper Medicina danes, and the web portals Finance and Mojevro. As of 2008, the Finance Business Daily accounted for three quarter of the Časnik Finance company income. Before becoming a daily newspaper in 2002, Finance was issued twice weekly.
