Rudolf Burkert was an Ethnic German Czechoslovak Nordic skier who competed in the 1920s and 1930s. He won a bronze medal in the ski jumping individual large hill competition at the 1928 Winter Olympics in St. Moritz, the first Winter Olympics medal in Czechoslovak history. He also finished 12th in the nordic combined event at those Olympics.
Ulrich Wehling is a retired German skier who won the nordic combined event in the Winter Olympics three consecutive times, in 1972, 1976, and 1980. Wehling was the first man to win three consecutive gold medals in the same event at Winter Olympics but not the first Olympian to win three Gold in a winter discipline as Gillis Grafström had won a figure skating title at the Summer Olympics 1920 before winning twice at the first two Winter Olympics.
Tom Sandberg is a former nordic combined skier from Mo i Rana, Norway who competed from the mid-1970s to the mid-1980s.
Mario Stecher is an Austrian former Nordic combined skier. Competing in six Winter Olympics, he won three medals in the 4 x 5 km team event with two golds and a bronze (2002). Stecher's best individual finish was fifth in the 10 km individual normal hill event at Vancouver in 2010.
Björn Kircheisen is a German former nordic combined skier. He won four 4 x 5 km team medals at the Winter Olympics with three silvers and a bronze (2010).
Georg Thoma is a retired German Nordic combined skier and ski jumper. He won a gold medal at the 1960 Olympics, becoming the first non-Scandinavian athlete to do so, and was voted German Sportsman of the Year. At the 1964 Olympics he won a bronze medal and served as the Olympic flag bearer for Germany at the opening ceremony. He further won the world championships title in 1966. Thoma's strength in the Nordic combined was jumping. He was three times German champion in ski jumping. Additionally, he won the Nordic combined at the Holmenkollen ski festival from 1963 to 1966. For his Nordic combined successes, Thoma was awarded the Holmenkollen medal in 1964.
Franz Keller was a West German nordic combined skier. At the 1968 Winter Olympics in Grenoble, he won the gold medal in the individual event. Keller also won a silver at the 1966 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships in the individual event and won the event at the Holmenkollen ski festival in 1967.
Hermann Weinbuch is a former West German nordic combined skier who won four medals at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships during the 1980s. In 1985, he won the 15 km individual and 3 x 10 km team gold medals, then followed it up two years later with two more medals.
Konrad Winkler is a former East German Nordic combined skier who competed during the late 1970s and early 1980s.
Thomas Müller is a former West German nordic combined skier who competed during the 1980s and early 1990s. He won the Nordic combined 3 x 10 km team event at the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary and also won gold medals in the 3 x 10 km team events at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships in both 1985 and 1987.
Hans-Peter Pohl is a former German nordic combined skier who competed during the late 1980s and early 1990s. He won the 3 x 10 km team event at the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary and also won two medals in the 3 x 10 km team events at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships with a gold in 1987 and a bronze in 1993.
Hubert Schwarz is a former German nordic combined skier who competed during the 1980s. He won the Nordic combined 3 x 10 km team event at the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary after having won the gold medal in that same event at the 1985 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships in Seefeld.

Toni-Seelos-Olympiaschanze is a ski jumping hill in Seefeld outside of Innsbruck, Austria. It is a part of the Seefeld Nordic Competence Centre consists of two hills, a normal hill with a hill size of HS109 (K-99) and medium hill with at HS75 (K-68). Next to the jumps is a cross-country skiing stadium. It opened in 1931 as Jahnschanze, but was renamed in honor of Anton Seelos in 1948.
Ralph Pöhland was a German skier. He competed in the Nordic combined event at the 1972 Winter Olympics.
Sven Leonhardt is a German skier. He competed in the Nordic combined event at the 1992 Winter Olympics.
