Ramona d'Viola (born October 30, 1958)[ citation needed ] is an American cyclist.
She was a member of the 1985 Women's US National Cycling Team and competed in the second Women's Tour de France [1] known as the Tour Feminin. During 1984, 1985, and 1986, the women's Tour de France was held simultaneously with the men's race before being rescheduled, renamed (the Grand Boucle), and largely forgotten by the cycling community.
In 2003, d'Viola captained the first team of women to attempt crossing the Florida Straits from Marina Hemingway, Cuba to Key West by paddleboard (110 miles). The team was pulled from the water mid-crossing due to bad weather, however, a 2004 attempt proved successful. Acting as captain and alternate, the team of international world-class paddlers set a world record in the process. Founder of the Santa Cruz Paddleboard Union which hosts the annual Jay Moriarity Memorial Paddleboard Race, d'Viola is a photojournalist, veteran of the United States Marine Corps, and former crew member aboard the retired America's Cup yacht Stars and Stripes, USA-11. Garmin–Cervélo was an elite professional women's cycling team registered in Great Britain and racing on the UCI Women's Road World Cup circuit. The team was previously known was Cervélo-Lifeforce Pro Cycling Team, but in 2009, with the creation of the UCI Professional Continental team Cervélo TestTeam, the women's team changed names to match the men's team. When the men's Cervélo TestTeam merged with Garmin–Transitions for the 2011 season, the team changed names again, becoming Garmin–Cervélo to again match the men's team. In 2007, the team was known as Raleigh-Lifeforce-Creation and prior to 2007, the team was known as the Univega Pro Cycling Team.
Paddleboarding is a water sport in which participants are propelled by a swimming motion using their arms while lying or kneeling on a paddleboard or surfboard in the ocean or other body of water. Paddleboarding is usually performed in the open ocean, with the participant paddling and surfing unbroken swells to cross between islands or journey from one coastal area to another.

Mara Katherine Abbott is a US former professional women's bicycle racer. In 2010, Abbott became the first US cyclist ever to win the Giro d'Italia Femminile, one of the Grand Tours of women's bicycle racing. Abbott retired after the 2016 Olympic Games road race.

The 2022 Tour de Romandie Féminin is a women's road cycling stage race that was held in Switzerland from 7 to 9 October 2022. It was the first edition of the Tour de Romandie Féminin and was the twenty-third event on the 2022 UCI Women's World Tour calendar. The race was held as part of the celebrations of 75 years of the Tour de Romandie.
