Randaberg is the administrative centre of Randaberg municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. The village is located at the northern end of the Stavanger Peninsula, about 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) west of the village of Grødem and about 7 kilometres (4.3 mi) northwest of the city centre of Stavanger. The European route E39 highway passes just outside of Randaberg to the east. The village is the site of the municipal administration for Randaberg municipality as well as the site of Randaberg Church.

Kvitsøy is an island municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. At only 6.29-square-kilometre (2.43 sq mi), it is the smallest municipality in Norway by area and one of the smallest by population. The village has a ferry quay which receives regular ferries from the town of Skudeneshavn on the island of Karmøy across the Boknafjorden to the north, and to the village of Mekjarvik in Randaberg municipality across the Kvitsøyfjorden on the mainland to the south. The planned Rogfast undersea tunnel will connect Kvitsøy to the mainland to the north and south as part of the government's goal of providing a ferry-free European route E39 highway along the west coast of Norway.
Hetland is a former municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. The municipality existed from 1838 until 1965 when it was dissolved. The municipality included the Stavanger Peninsula and the land surrounding both sides of the Gandsfjorden, but not the area around the head of the fjord. It originally encompassed the land surrounding the city of Stavanger in the present-day municipalities of Randaberg and Stavanger and part of the municipality of Sandnes. The main church for Hetland was Hetland Church. Upon its dissolution in 1965, the 92-square-kilometre (36 sq mi) municipality had 24,173 residents.

Rogfast or the Rogaland Fixed Link is a sub-sea road tunnel under construction between the municipalities of Randaberg and Bokn in Rogaland county, Norway. The project will be a world record with respect to its 27-kilometre (17 mi) length and its maximum depth of 392 metres (1,286 ft) below sea level. This will be a part of the main European route E39 highway along the west coast of Norway and it will link the cities of Kristiansand – Stavanger – Haugesund – Bergen.

The Indre Tasta neighborhood lies to the south, the Gandsfjorden is to the east, and the municipality of Randaberg is to the north and west. The neighborhood has a population of 7,909 which is distributed over an area of 6.01 square kilometres (2.32 sq mi). Vardeneset Church is located in this neighborhood.
Tungenes Lighthouse is a coastal lighthouse located in the municipality of Randaberg in Rogaland county, Norway. The lighthouse is situated at the north end of the Tungenes headland on the tip of Stavanger Peninsula just to the north of the city of Stavanger. The lighthouse is no longer in use, but it is used as a fine arts center and lighthouse/maritime museum. There is also a cafe in one of the buildings. Historically, the lighthouse was the main light marking the entrance to the Byfjorden, the main fjord leading to the important city of Stavanger.

Grødem Church is a parish church in Randaberg municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. It is located in the village of Grødem. The church is part of the Randaberg parish in the Tungenes deanery in the Diocese of Stavanger. The large, half-circle, concrete church was built in 2000 by the architect Ove Morten Berge. The church, which seats about 500 people, was consecrated on 28 May 2000 by the Bishop Ernst Baasland.
