Norway, officially the Kingdom of Norway, is a Nordic country in Northern Europe, the mainland territory of which comprises the western and northernmost portion of the Scandinavian Peninsula. The remote Arctic island of Jan Mayen and the archipelago of Svalbard also form part of Norway. Bouvet Island, located in the Subantarctic, is a dependency of Norway; it also lays claims to the Antarctic territories of Peter I Island and Queen Maud Land. The capital and largest city in Norway is Oslo.

Svalbard, also known as Spitsbergen, or Spitzbergen, is a Norwegian archipelago in the Arctic Ocean. North of mainland Europe, it lies about midway between the northern coast of Norway and the North Pole. The islands of the group range from 74° to 81° north latitude, and from 10° to 35° east longitude. The largest island is Spitsbergen, followed in size by Nordaustlandet and Edgeøya. The largest settlement is Longyearbyen.
Trondheim, historically Kaupangen, Nidaros and Trondhjem, is a city and municipality in Trøndelag county, Norway. As of 2020, it had a population of 205,332, was the third most populous municipality in Norway, and was the fourth largest urban area. Trondheim lies on the south shore of Trondheim Fjord at the mouth of the River Nidelva. Among the major technology-oriented institutions headquartered in Trondheim are the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), the Foundation for Scientific and Industrial Research (SINTEF), and St. Olavs University Hospital.

Fyresvatnet or Fyresvatn is a lake in Fyresdal Municipality in Vestfold og Telemark county, Norway. With a depth of 377 metres (1,237 ft), the lake is the fifth-deepest lake in Norway. The 49.8-square-kilometre (19.2 sq mi) lake stretches about 25 kilometres (16 mi) from the village of Kilegrend in the south to Moland in the north.
Bandak is a lake in the municipalities of Kviteseid and Tokke in Vestfold og Telemark county, Norway. The lake, which is part of the Telemark Canal route, belongs to the Skien watershed. The river Tokke flows into the lake, and the outlet is via the river Straumane, which flows to the lake Kviteseidvatn.
Totak is a lake in Vinje Municipality in Vestfold og Telemark county, Norway. The 37.26-square-kilometre (14.39 sq mi) lake is located in the Rauland area, about 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) to the north of the village of Åmot. The lake is part of the Skien river watershed (Skiensvassdraget), discharging via the river Tokke which flows into the lake Bandak to the south. At 306 metres (1,004 ft) deep, Totak is the 10th deepest lake in Norway. This tremendous overdeepening marks it as a glacially formed lake with characteristics similar to a fjord. Its volume of 2.36 cubic kilometres (1,910,000 acre⋅ft) makes it the 20th largest by volume as well. The lake is a reservoir that holds water for the Tokke Hydroelectric Power Station.

Lars Haltbrekken is a Norwegian environmentalist and was elected to the Parliament of Norway in 2017 for the Socialist Left Party. He was chairman of Friends of the Earth Norway from 2005 to 2016 after having been deputy chairman from 2003 to 2005. Haltbrekken was also chairman of Natur og Ungdom in 1995 and 1996. In between the two leaderships he worked primarily trying to prevent natural gas power plants in Norway, and was chairman of Fellesaksjonen mot gasskraftverk. He grew up in Trondheim.

Per Arne Lodding Olsen was a Norwegian politician who served as a Member of Parliament for the Progress Party, where he held the position as second deputy leader. He served as the Governor of Vestfold from 2016 to 2019, and from 2019 until his death was the Governor of Vestfold og Telemark, elected by the King-in-Council. While Vestfold and Telemark merged on 1 January 2020, the office of the Governor was merged a year before, on 1 January 2019.

Bane NOR SF, formerly Jernbaneinfrastrukturforetaket, is the Norwegian government agency responsible for owning, maintaining, operating and developing the Norwegian railway network, including the track, stations, etc. It is the result of the rail reform of the Conservative-led coalition. The agency which is organized as a state enterprise became operational on 1 January 2017. Bane NOR, and the Norwegian Railway Directorate replaced the former agency, the Norwegian National Rail Administration.
The 2019 Mesterfinalen was supposed to be the third edition of Mesterfinalen and the 5th Norwegian super cup overall. Mesterfinalen is the annual game between the League champions and the Cup champions in Norway, or the second-placed team in Eliteserien if the same team are reigning League and Cup champions. The final will be played in March between league and cup champions and defending Mesterfinalen champions Rosenborg and the runner-up in the league, Molde.
