Vennela is a 2005 Telugu romantic comedy film written and directed by Deva Katta, starring Raja and Parvati Melton as well as Sharwanand and Ravi Varma. Vennela was well received among the young, urban audiences and south Indian students in USA mostly from Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana, India. 90% of the film was shot in Michigan, United States. The American university setting was shot at Wayne State University main campus in Detroit and Oakland University in Rochester. Only 10% of the film was shot at City College Hyderabad. The film grossed 5.3 crore at the box office and was declared a cult hit.

Prasthanam is a 2010 Indian Telugu-language political action drama film written and directed by Deva Katta. The film was produced by Ravi Vallabhaneni under VRC Media & Entertainment banner. The film stars Sharwanand, Sai Kumar, Sundeep Kishan, and Ruby Parihar. The film received generally positive response upon release with praise for Sai Kumars performance. It won three Filmfare Awards and was also selected for screening in the Indian Panorama section at International Film Festival of India, Goa. The film was dubbed and released in Tamil as Padhavi.It was dubbed into hindi as "asteen ka saanp"

He was the eponymous founder of the newspaper, Kesari and was one of the three major figures in modern Malayalam literary criticism, along with Joseph Mundassery and M. P. Paul. Kudiyirikkal Narayanan Ezhuthachan, commonly known as Dr.K.N.Ezhuthachan was an Indian writer and scholar of Malayalam literature. He was one among the principal followers of the idea of social impact on literature. Ezhuthachan supported Marxist literary criticism. And interpreted Indian literary works based on Marxist aesthetics. He won the Sahitya Akademi Award for his work Keralodayam, a long narrative poem written in Sanskrit. He is the first Malayali to win Sahitya Akademi Award in sanskrit literature. He died on 28 October 1981 while delivering a lecture at Calicut University.

Chelangatt Gopalakrishnan was born in Cherthala Alappuzha dist. in Kerala to Sri Nediyedathu Kesava Pillai and Thrikkeparambil Ammukkutti Amma. After graduation, he started his career as a journalist in a regional newspaper; Malayali. Later he worked for some other newspapers including Mathrubhumi. During this time, he established his own name in the film journalism. Several forgotten personalities including J.C. The historical narrations of cinema have been started from the birth of world cinema till the contemporary Malayalam films. The renowned Malayalam Film Maker Adoor Gopalakrishnan in his book Cinemayude Lokam, which won many awards including the award from Government of India says ; "The history of Malayalam Cinema is not started with stars born with fortunes, from sky. But, it is the tearful story of some, who experimented with their lives and assets. Most of the experiments had been tragedies. We got that history from the articles written by Chelangatt Gopalakrishnan. S. Gupthan Nair called Chelangatt Gopalakrishnan, the Chief Architect of Malayalam Film Literature and Journalism. He was in the Kerala State Film Awards Jury for several years. Many books related with novel, biographies, history and technical aspects of film making have been written by him. He had run a film studio named 'Ajanta Studio' at Aluva. Many classical films including 'Olavum Theeravum' written by M.T. Vasudevan Nair have been filimized at this studio. He had written more than 20 books about cinema alone. Vincent Muthal Vincent Vare, Mukhathodu Mukham, The History of World Cinema, The History of Indian Cinema, The History of Malayalam Cinema, The History of Film Persons in Kerala, The History of Malayalam Journalism etc., are few among them. Maha Prasthanam is a Telugu-language anthology of poems written by noted literary writer Srirangam Srinivasarao. It is considered an epic and magnum opus in modern Indian poetry. The work is a compilation of poetry written between 1930 and 1940. When it was published in 1950, it rocked the Telugu literary world. Maha Prasthanam meaning The Great Journey to a New World was also made into an Indian movie by the same name. The book was reprinted for the 31st time in 2010.

Ravi Yadav is an Indian cinematographer known for his works with directors Abbas Mastan and R.K.Selvamani in the Hindi and Tamil film industry respectively.
