Ravindra Lakmal (full name Matharage Don Ravindra Lakmal; born 25 July 1981) was a Sri Lankan cricketer. He was a right-handed batsman and right-arm medium-pace bowler who played for Moratuwa Sports Club.
Lakmal made a single first-class appearance for the side, during the 2003–04 season, against Singha Sports Club. From the tailend, he scored 0 not out in both innings in which he batted.

Madura Lakmal is a Sri Lankan former cricketer. He played in 84 first-class and 60 List A matches between 2003/04 and 2018/19. He made his Twenty20 debut on 17 August 2004, for Panadura Sports Club in the 2004 SLC Twenty20 Tournament. In March 2007, he was part of the Sri Lanka Cricket Academy squad that played in triangular tournament against Pakistan and Bangladesh in Bangladesh. In 2012, he also played for Clifton Cricket Club in the Central Lancashire Cricket League in England.

The Test series formed part of the 2021–2023 ICC World Test Championship. In September 2021, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) confirmed the schedule for the tour. In January 2022, Sri Lanka Cricket made a request to play the T20I matches first, as the T20I squad would be coming straight from their tour of Australia. In early February, the change was agreed by both boards, with Bangalore hosting a day/night Test match, with the BCCI confirming the revised tour schedule.
