The Reverend is an honorific style given before the names of certain Christian clergy and ministers. There are sometimes differences in the way the style is used in different countries and church traditions. The Reverend is correctly called a style, but is sometimes referred to as a title, form of address, or title of respect. The style is also sometimes used by leaders in other religions such as Judaism and Buddhism.
JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Hirohiko Araki. It was originally serialized in Shueisha's shōnen manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Jump from 1987 to 2004, and was transferred to the monthly seinen manga magazine Ultra Jump in 2005. The series is so far divided into a total of nine story arcs, each following a new protagonist bearing the "JoJo" nickname. JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is the largest ongoing manga series published by Shueisha by number of volumes, with its chapters collected in 131 tankōbon volumes as of September 2021.
Doom metal is an extreme subgenre of heavy metal music that typically uses slower tempos, low-tuned guitars and a much "thicker" or "heavier" sound than other heavy metal genres. Both the music and the lyrics are intended to evoke a sense of despair, dread, and impending doom. The genre is strongly influenced by the early work of Black Sabbath, who formed a prototype for doom metal. During the first half of the 1980s, a number of bands such as Witchfinder General and Pagan Altar from England, American bands Pentagram, Saint Vitus, the Obsessed, Trouble, and Cirith Ungol, and Swedish band Candlemass defined doom metal as a distinct genre.
The Pharcyde is an American alternative hip hop group, formed in 1989, from South Central Los Angeles. The original four members of the group are Imani, Slimkid3, Bootie Brown, and Fatlip. DJ Mark Luv was the group's first disc jockey (DJ), followed by producer J-Swift and then J Dilla. The group is perhaps best known for the hit singles "Drop", "Passin' Me By" and "Runnin'", as well as their first album, Bizarre Ride II the Pharcyde (1992). The group continues to tour and record, both collaboratively and in solo projects—the most recent being Hardson's collaborative EP with DJ Nu-Mark released in 2014 on Delicious Vinyl.
Reverend Bizarre was a doom metal band from Finland. Formed in 1995, they played slow and heavy traditional doom with dramatic vocals, following in the footsteps of bands such as Saint Vitus, Pentagram and Black Sabbath. The band was one of the biggest names in 2000s traditional doom metal.
"Forgive Her..." is a CD single by Swallow the Sun, released in 2005 by Firebox Records. The single was released only in Finland, where it reached number 4 in the charts. Guest vocals by Albert Witchfinder of the Finnish doom metal band Reverend Bizarre were featured on the song "Solitude", a cover of Candlemass.
In the Rectory of the Bizarre Reverend is the debut album by Finnish doom metal band Reverend Bizarre. It was originally released in 2002 and was re-released with a bonus CD titled Return to the Rectory in 2004. The album was released on vinyl by Finnish label Svart Records.
II: Crush the Insects is the second album by the Finnish doom metal band Reverend Bizarre, released in 2005. The song "Slave of Satan", which was released as a single on 20 April of that year, appears here in a 13:27 version, which is an abridgement compared to the full version of the song released as a CD single which clocked at 20:59. Due to the more upbeat nature of the first part of the album, the CD case has a sticker accusing Reverend Bizarre of being "The Biggest Sell-Out in True Doom".

Orodruin is an American doom metal band from Rochester, New York, who play traditional doom as part of the style's early-2000s revival, playing alongside bands like Reverend Bizarre, While Heaven Wept, and Penance. Their sophomore release Ruins of Eternity came out on Cruz Del Sur Records on October 25, 2019.
Doomination was a touring metal music festival with performances by many doom metal and death metal groups. It was organized by the members of the now defunct American band Morgion, the Irish doom metal band Mourning Beloveth and the Yorkshire progressive doom metal band The Prophecy. The tour was intended to bring together the best of the underground doom metal and doom/death metal acts to create a traveling doom metal showcase, helping to bring new life into the scene and spurring on many bands to be more adventurous when considering when, where and how to tour. The original tour and the tours which followed were well received by the metal press with articles and reviews being published in Metal Hammer, Terrorizer, Loud, Feedback and Abode for Forlorn Souls, the latter publishing full interviews with each of the three Doomination bands as well as excerpts from Christian Moore-Wainwright's tour diary.
Minotauri was a doom metal band from Finland. Alongside Reverend Bizarre and Spiritus Mortis they were one of the most important bands in the Finnish true doom metal movement. The band was formed in 1995 and disbanded in 2007.
Born Too Late was the first all doom metal festival to be held in the USA. It was held in Rochester, New York on April 26, 2003, at The Steel Music Hall. Born Too Late was originally a website dedicated to doom metal music created back in late 1997 by John Gallo of Orodruin, Crucifist, Blizaro.
Electric Wizard/Reverend Bizarre is a split EP released by the English stoner/doom metal band Electric Wizard and the Finnish doom band Reverend Bizarre. It was released in 2008 through Rise Above Records. The Reverend Bizarre song is a cover of Finnish black metal band Beherit. The Electric Wizard track is exclusive to this release and takes its name from the novel by weird fiction author William Hope Hodgson.
In J. R. R. Tolkien's fictional world of Middle-earth, Mordor is the realm and base of the evil Sauron. It lay to the east of Gondor and the great river Anduin, and to the south of Mirkwood. Mount Doom, a volcano in Mordor, was the goal of the Fellowship of the Ring in the quest to destroy the One Ring. Mordor was surrounded by three mountain ranges, to the north, the west, and the south. These both protected the land from invasion and kept those living in Mordor from escaping.
"Slave of Satan" is a single by Finnish doom metal band Reverend Bizarre. It was released in April 2005. The sole track, "Slave of Satan" appears here unabridged as it was later released in edited form (13:26) on the band's second LP. The single was edited to the exact length of 20:59 to fit the total length limitations set for the Finnish single charts. The release hit the Finnish single charts at number 2, staying on the charts for five weeks.

In typical split-album fashion, Mr Velcro Fashioner covers a Reverend Bizarre song while Reverend Bizarre covers a song by Mr Velcro Fastener.
Death Is Glory... Now is a compilation release by Reverend Bizarre. It was released on 2xCD in 2009 by Spikefarm Records. The first disc contains songs only found on rare Reverend Bizarre split albums, while the second contains a collection of various hard-to-find covers Reverend Bizarre released over the years.
Svart Records is a Finnish independent record company focused on heavy metal music, especially doom metal. It concentrates mostly on releasing LP reissues of albums previously unavailable on vinyl.
Orodruin is an alternative name for Mount Doom, a fictional location in J. R. R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings.
