Reyes del Bajo Mundo ("Kings of the Under World", commonly abbreviated RDBM) is a Salvadoran hip hop group. The group was formed in 1992 and is conformed by Cruz Control and Douglas Dinamico. A third member named Rey de Reyes left the group due to immigration problems. They are considered to be the original hip hop pioneers of El Salvador and the first group to bring Salvadoran hip hop to mainstream radio, television, and newspapers, with their release of Estilo Impereal in 1997 under their own independent label. They were followed by PESCOZADA and later by Crooked Stilo.

Imanol Landeta, more commonly known simply as Imanol, is a Mexican former singer and actor. His acting career started with the film Última llamada in 1996, and he has appeared in almost a dozen films and television series since. He is the son of actor Manuel Landeta. Imanol Landeta began working as an airplane pilot after retiring from show business.

Salvadoran rap or Guanaco hip hop is a type of rap music that comes from El Salvador. It is a style of music that emerged from groups such as Pescozada and Mecate in the late 1990s. Salvadoran hip hop arose about 30 years ago following a large migration of Salvadorans to LA. Their arrival occurred during a surge in popularity of hip hop in the United States, which allowed them to participate. Salvadoran hip hop is still a smaller kind of music but it is an important part to communities and the lives of many Salvadorans.

He is also widely known as an artist of Electronic music. Ominonn resided in San Francisco, California for most of his life, but has dedicated himself to help establish an urban music scene in El Salvador, and in 2006 moved back to his home country.
