Richard Handford is a British television producer.

He was producer on "Emmerdale Farm" from 1983 until being replaced by Michael Russell in 1986.

In 1997 he was appointed executive producer on The Bill , having previously worked on the show as producer since the early 1990s. He left the show in late 2001 and his final episodes appeared on-screen in January 2002.

He also served as series producer on Casualty from 2002–2003.
