Working primarily as an inker, Sinnott is best known for his long stint on Marvel Comics' Fantastic Four, from 1965 to 1981, initially over the pencils of Jack Kirby. During his 60 years as a Marvel freelance artist and then remote worker salaried artist, Sinnott inked virtually every major title, with notable runs on The Avengers, The Defenders, and Thor.

The 2007–08 season was Port Vale's 96th season of football in the English Football League, and fourth successive season in League One. Vale finished second-from-bottom, and were relegated, some twelve points from safety. Manager Martin Foyle left the club in September, and Lee Sinnott failed to improve results despite making several loan signings. Vale were also knocked out of the FA Cup at the Second Round by Southern Football League side Chasetown, a club five divisions below the Vale. Vale also had no luck in either the League Cup or the League Trophy, exiting both competitions at the first stage after a penalty shoot-out. Throughout the season the club saw a large turnover of players, as Sinnott attempted to build a squad of players of his own choosing to prepare for a promotion push the following season.
The 2008–09 season was Port Vale's 97th season of football in the English Football League, and first season in League Two, following their relegation from League One. After a poor start to the season manager Lee Sinnott was sacked in September, and was replaced by Dean Glover. Despite a brief period of improvement, Vale then slipped back down the table to finish in eighteenth place. The team were also poor in the cup competitions, exiting the FA Cup at the Second Round, and both the League Cup and the League Trophy at the First Round. Marc Richards was the club's top scorer with eleven goals, and goalkeeper Joe Anyon was Player of the Year despite breaking his leg towards the end of the season.
Jordan James Sinnott was an English footballer who played as a midfielder. He was the son of the former Huddersfield Town captain Lee Sinnott and was contracted to Northern Premier League side Matlock Town at the time of his death in January 2020. He died following an altercation in Retford town centre where he was attacked.

Todd Sinnott is an Australian professional golfer. He won the 2017 Leopalace21 Myanmar Open, his first win on the Asian Tour, winning the first prize of US$135,000. The win came just two weeks after Sinnott finished second in the 2017 Asian Tour qualifying school, losing to fellow-Australian Richard Green at the first hole of a sudden-death playoff.
