Rifle is an Italian clothing company founded in 1958 in Prato. It was most famous for their jeans during the 1980s, especially in the USSR, Bulgaria, Poland, and Czechoslovakia.[ citation needed ] It was also very popular in Switzerland, the UK, Israel, the Netherlands and Colombia between 1975 and 1990.[ citation needed ] There are upscale lines of Rifle Jeans, called Super Rifle, Golden Rifle and Royal Rifle.

The Fucile Mitragliatore Breda modello 30 was the standard light machine gun of the Royal Italian Army during World War II. The Breda Modello 30 was issued at platoon level and gave Italian rifle squads extra firepower. As a light machine gun it had many problems including jamming and overheating. It was fed by a 20 round stripper clips which had to be oiled by a lubricated device. Despite all its faults it formed the main base of fire for infantry units during the war.

Stone washing is a textile manufacturing process used to give a newly manufactured cloth garment a worn appearance. The process became popular in the 1980's, as acid jeans gained popularity, however stone washing has roots going back to 1960's surfer apparel. Stone-washing also helps to increase the softness and flexibility of otherwise stiff and rigid fabrics such as canvas and denim. Although stone washing increases a fabrics flexibility, it shortens the life-span of the jeans. The process of Stone Washing can be costly, as freshly stone washed jeans must be washed many times in order to remove the grit from the process. Along with high production costs, stone washing can be detrimental to the environment, due to the excess grit that is removed as fabric is being stone washed. This leads many manufacturers to pursue other methods to achieve a distressed appearance.

The Modular Sniper Rifle, or MSR, is a bolt-action sniper rifle developed and produced by Remington Arms for the United States Army. It was introduced in 2009, and was designed to meet specific United States Army and USSOCOM Precision Sniper Rifle requirements. The MSR initially won the PSR competition, and was called the Remington Mk 21 Precision Sniper Rifle in U.S. military service. However, it was then decided that the Mk 21 did not conform to SOCOM requirements at the time in 2018, and the program was re-competed with the Barrett MRAD selected in 2019 as the Mk 22 Advanced Sniper Rifle solution.
