Roderick Green (born March 16, 1979) is a paralympic athlete from the United States competing mainly in category T44 sprint events. [1] [2]
Roderick has competed in two Paralympics, firstly in 2000 where he won a silver in the 200m and bronze in both the 400m and long jump but could not help the American T46 relay team to a medal. His second games were in 2004 where despite competing in the 100m long jump and shot put he was unable to add to his tally of medals. [3]
When Green was born he had no right ankle or fibula; his leg was amputated below the knee at age two. [4] [5] In 1997, he graduated from West Monroe High School in West Monroe, Louisiana. He then attended Oklahoma Christian University where he played basketball and in 2002 earned his degree in physical education and nutrition. [2]
Michael Alex Conley Sr. is an American former track and field athlete who competed primarily in the triple jump and the long jump. In the triple jump, he won an Olympic gold medal in 1992, silver in 1984, and gold in the 1993 World Championship.

His personal best of 18.14 m, set at the Jim Bush Southern California USATF Championships in Long Beach on June 29, 2019 ranks him as the No. 3 triple jumper of all time.

The 2013 IPC Athletics World Championships was the biggest track and field competition for athletes with a disability since the 2012 Summer Paralympics. It was held in Lyon, France, and lasted from 20 to 28 July. Around 1,100 athletes competed, from 94 different countries. The event was held in the Stade du Rhône located at the Parc de Parilly in Vénissieux, in Lyon Metropolis.
