The Ronde van Limburg is a single-day bicycle road race held annually in and around Stein, in the Dutch region of South Limburg. [1]
Edward (Ward) Van Dijck was a Belgian professional road bicycle racer during the 1940s and 1950s.
Evert "Eef" Gerardus Dolman was a Dutch racing cyclist, who won the gold medal in the 100 km team trial at the 1964 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan, alongside Gerben Karstens, Bart Zoet, and Jan Pieterse. His sporting career began with Apollo Rotterdam. He became Dutch champion in 1967 and 1968, but was later stripped of his 1967 title because of doping.

Rob Mulders was a Dutch road racing cyclist, who was a professional from 1991 to 1996. He twice rode the Tour de France, in 1993 and 1994. Born in Well, Limburg, Mulders' biggest success was winning Veenendaal–Veenendaal in 1993. Five years later he died in a car crash near Apeldoorn.
Johan Lammerts is a retired road bicycle racer from the Netherlands, who was a professional rider from 1982 to 1992. His biggest success came in 1984, when he won the Tour of Flanders and the Ronde van Nederland. Lammerts also won the 20th stage of the 1985 Tour de France.
Cees Priem is a retired Dutch professional road bicycle racer. After his cycling career, Priem became team manager of TVM. He competed in the individual road race and team time trial events at the 1972 Summer Olympics.

He is the father-in-law of Michel Vaarten, and the grandfather of Pascal Elaut and Luc Colyn who were also racing cyclists.
The Tour of Limburg is a European single day cycle race held in the Belgian region of Limburg. The race was first organised in 1919 and remained on the calendar until 1994, with the course typically in and around the city of Sint-Truiden. After 1994 it was no longer organised until it was reinstated in 2012 as a 1.2 event on the UCI Europe Tour, with the host city now Tongeren. Since 2014, the race has been categorised as a 1.1 race.
