Rosalind Allen (born September 23, 1957) is a New Zealand-born actress, best known for her portrayal of Doctor Wendy Smith in the second season of seaQuest DSV .
Born Rosalind E. Ingledew in New Zealand, she studied acting there, before moving to the United States.
Her first movie appearance was as an extra in the film Three Men and a Little Lady , and after guest appearances on a number of daytime dramas dating back to the mid-1980s, and a fairly large part in Children of the Corn II: The Final Sacrifice , as well as several independent films, Allen was signed as a main character in NBC's popular sci-fi series, seaQuest DSV, but she left after one season.
Like her seaQuest predecessor (Stephanie Beacham), she appeared in an episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation . Allen also appeared alongside her then husband Todd Allen in seaQuest DSV in the episode "The Siamese Dream".
Allen twice portrayed the love interest of Bobby Ewing (Patrick Duffy), though as different characters, on both the final episode of the original run of Dallas and the first reunion TV movie Dallas: J.R. Returns .

Dallas was an American prime time soap opera that aired on CBS from April 2, 1978, to May 3, 1991. The series revolved around an affluent and feuding Texas family, the Ewings, who owned the independent oil company Ewing Oil and the cattle-ranching land of Southfork. The series originally focused on the marriage of Bobby Ewing and Pam Ewing, whose families were sworn enemies. As the series progressed, Bobby's elder brother, oil tycoon J. R. Ewing, became the show's breakout character, whose schemes and dirty business became the show's trademark. When the show ended on May 3, 1991, J. R. was the only character to have appeared in every episode.
Jonathan Gregory Brandis was an American actor. Beginning his career as a child model, Brandis moved on to acting in commercials and subsequently won television and film roles. Brandis made his acting debut in 1982 as Kevin Buchanan on the soap opera One Life to Live. In 1990, he portrayed Bill Denbrough in the television miniseries It, and starred as Bastian Bux in The NeverEnding Story II: The Next Chapter. In 1993, at the age of 17, he was cast in the role of teen prodigy Lucas Wolenczak on the NBC series seaQuest DSV. The character was popular among teenage viewers, and Brandis regularly appeared in teen magazines. He died by suicide in 2003.
Tracy Dawn Scoggins is an American actress and model. She began her career in Elite Model Management in New York City and the European modeling circuit. She returned to the United States and studied acting at the Herbert Berghof Studio in the late 1970s. In early 1980s, Scoggins began appearing on television and film, notable playing main roles in the short-lived television series The Renegades (1983) and Hawaiian Heat (1984).
SeaQuest DSV is an American science fiction television series created by Rockne S. O'Bannon. It aired on NBC between 1993 and 1996. In its final season, it was renamed seaQuest 2032. Set in "the near future", seaQuest DSV originally mixed high drama with realistic scientific fiction. The first two seasons star Roy Scheider as Captain Nathan Bridger, designer and commander of the eponymous naval submarine seaQuest DSV 4600, the ship prefix standing for "deep-submergence vehicle".
Diana Muldaur is an American film and television actress. Muldaur's television roles include Rosalind Shays on L.A. Law and Dr. Katherine Pulaski in the second season of Star Trek: The Next Generation. She appeared in two episodes of Star Trek: The Original Series in the late 1960s, playing different roles.
