Rothwell Ward, representing the town of Rothwell and formed from the merger of Trinity and Tresham, was created by boundary changes in 2007. [1]

The current councillors are Cllr. Cedwien Brown, Cllr. Karl Sumpter and Cllr. Margaret Talbot.
