Ruud Kool (born 1 November 1966) is a retired Dutch footballer who played as a midfielder for AZ Alkmaar, FC Twente, Fortuna Sittard and VVV Venlo.
Ruud Gullit is a Dutch former footballer and subsequent manager who played professionally in the 1980s and 1990s as a forward, midfielder or defender. In 2004, he was named one of the Top 125 greatest living footballers as part of FIFA's 100th anniversary celebration.
Kool & the Gang is an American R&B, soul, and funk group formed in Jersey City, New Jersey in 1964. Its founding members include brothers Robert "Kool" Bell and Ronald Bell aka "Khalis Bayyan", Dennis "Dee Tee" Thomas, Robert "Spike" Mickens, Charles Smith, George Brown, Sir Earl Toon, Woodrow "Woody" Sparrow, and Ricky Westfield. They have undergone numerous changes in personnel and have explored many musical styles throughout their history, including jazz, rhythm and blues, soul, funk, disco, rock, and pop music. The group changed their name several times. Settling on Kool & the Gang, the group signed to De-Lite Records and released their debut album, Kool and the Gang (1969).
Rutgerus Johannes Martinus van Nistelrooij, commonly known as Ruudvan Nistelrooy, is a Dutch professional football coach and former striker who is currently an assistant manager at Manchester United. Widely regarded as one of the best strikers of his time, Van Nistelrooy has been the top scorer in three separate UEFA Champions League seasons, and is the sixth-highest goalscorer in the competition's history with 56 goals. RudolfJozef Krol is a Dutch former professional footballer who was capped 83 times for the Netherlands national team. Most of his career he played for his home town club, Ajax. He became a coach after retirement. Regarded as one of the best defenders of all time, Krol mainly played as a sweeper or left-back, though he could play anywhere across the back line, or in midfield as a defensive midfielder, due to his range of passing with both feet, temperament, tactical intelligence, and his ability to start attacking plays after winning back the ball.
Barrett James Ruud is an American football coach who serves as inside linebackers coach for the Atlanta Falcons in the National Football League (NFL). He was selected by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the second round of the 2005 NFL draft and also played for the Tennessee Titans, New Orleans Saints and Houston Texans. He played college football at Nebraska, where he was the inside linebackers coach from 2018 to 2022.
