Ryota Yamamoto (born 13 May 1997) is a Japanese nordic combined skier who competed at the 2022 Winter Olympics. [1] [2]
Tamara Ivanovna Tikhonova is a former Soviet Russian cross-country skier who competed from 1984 to 1992. She represented the Soviet Union at the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary, where she won three medals with golds in the 20 km freestyle and the 4 × 5 km relay, and a silver in the 5 km classical.
Thoralf Strømstad was a Norwegian Nordic skier who was awarded the Holmenkollen medal in 1923. Strømstad also earned silvers at the 1924 Winter Olympics both in 50 km cross-country skiing and in the Nordic combined.
Einar Aslaksen Landvik was a Norwegian Nordic skier who won the Holmenkollen medal in 1925.

Eero Johannes Kolehmainen was a Finnish cross-country skier. He competed in the 50 km event at the 1952 and 1956 Olympics and won a silver medal in 1952, placing fourth in 1956. In 1957, aged 39, he won the 50 km races at the Holmenkollen ski festival and Lahti Ski Games. The same year, he was awarded the Holmenkollen medal. Kolehmainen's best finish at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships was fifth over 50 km in 1958. He was a farmer by occupation.
Tapio Valfrid Mäkelä was a Finnish cross-country skier who competed in the 1950s.
Klaes Karppinen was a Finnish cross-country skier who competed in the 1930s. He won a gold medal at the 1936 Winter Olympics in Garmisch-Partenkirchen in the 4 × 10 km relay. Karppinen was born in Iisalmi, Finland.
Mirja Kyllikki Hietamies-Eteläpää was a cross-country skier from Finland who competed at the 1952 and 1956 Winter Olympics. She won a gold medal in the 3 × 5 km relay in 1956 and a silver medal in the individual 10 km race in 1952, placing sixth in 1956. She also won two medals at the 1954 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships with a silver in the 3 × 5 km relay and a bronze in the 10 km.

Nina Viktorovna Baldycheva was a Russian cross-country skier who competed from 1970 to 1980. She won three medals at the Winter Olympics with a gold in the 4 × 5 km relay (1976), a silver in the 4 × 5 km relay (1980), and a bronze in the 5 km (1976). In the relay in 1976, she injured her left hand in a fall at the start, but completed the race.
Zinaida Stepanovna Amosova is a former Soviet cross-country skier who competed from 1976 to 1983, training at the Armed Forces sports society in Novosibirsk. She won a gold medal in the 4 × 5 km relay at the 1976 Winter Olympics in Innsbruck.
Juho "Jussi" Kurikkala was a Finnish cross-country skier who competed in the 1930s. He was born in Kalajoki, and won three medals at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships with a silver in the 4 × 10 km relay in 1937, a gold in the same event in 1938, and a gold in the 18 km in 1939. He was also a long-distance runner and competed in the marathon at the 1948 Summer Olympics.
Nikolay Serafimovich Bazhukov is a Soviet/Russian cross-country skier who competed from 1976 to 1980. He won the 15 km gold and the 4 × 10 km relay bronze at the 1976 Winter Olympics in Innsbruck, then followed it with a 4 × 10 km relay gold at the 1980 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid, New York. Bazhukov trained at the Armed Forces sports society.

The individual normal hill/10 km competition in Nordic combined at the 2022 Winter Olympics was held on 9 February, at the Kuyangshu Nordic Center and Biathlon Center in Zhangjiakou. Vinzenz Geiger of Germany won the event. For him, this was the first Olympic medal in an individual event. Jørgen Graabak of Norway, the 2014 individual large hill and team champion, was second. Lukas Greiderer of Austria won the bronze medal, his first Olympic medal.
The team large hill/4 × 5 km competition in Nordic combined at the 2022 Winter Olympics was held on 17 February, at the Kuyangshu Nordic Center and Biathlon Center in Zhangjiakou. Jørgen Graabak, Jens Lurås Oftebro, Espen Bjørnstad, and Espen Andersen, representing Norway, won the event. Germany became the silver medalist, and Japan won the bronze.
