SG Records was an Italian record label, predominantly producing heavy metal. It was founded in 2008 and is based in Monte San Giusto, Italy. The recent discography includes the last works of the Brazilian guitarist Tiago Della Vega, the Italian heavy-rock trio Essenza, Alex Stornello, Daniele Liverani [1] [2]
Monte San Giusto is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Macerata in the Italian region Marche, located about 45 kilometres (28 mi) south of Ancona and about 14 kilometres (9 mi) southeast of Macerata.
Tiago della Vega March 9, 1984 is a Brazilian guitarist. Born in Caxias do Sul, Rio Grande do Sul, he began learning to play the acoustic guitar at the age of five. After a year, he realized that the electric guitar was his greatest passion. He started to study electric guitar, practicing 16 hours a day.
Essenza is a heavy metal band formed in Italy in 1993, led by the guitarist Carlo G. Rizzello and his brother Alessandro. At the beginning, Luca A. Rizzello played drums in the trio. Since 2003 Paolo Colazzo joins the band as drummer. The first two full lengths of the band were sung in Italian and were strongly influenced by traditional hard rock and rock-blues; later, the band adopted English lyrics and switched to a classic metal style that resembles Black Sabbath, Judas Priest and Iron Maiden mixed to the speed and the heaviness typical of the Megadeth sound.

Pantera was an American heavy metal band from Arlington, Texas. The group was formed in 1981 by the Abbott brothers – drummer Vinnie Paul and guitarist Dimebag Darrell – along with lead vocalist Terry Glaze. Bassist Rex Brown joined the band the following year, replacing Tommy D. Bradford, who was the unofficial original. Having started as a glam metal band, Pantera released four albums during the 1980s. Looking for a new and heavier sound, Pantera replaced Glaze with Phil Anselmo in late 1986 and released Power Metal in 1988. With its fifth album, 1990's Cowboys from Hell, Pantera introduced a groove metal sound. Pantera's sixth album, 1992's Vulgar Display of Power, exhibited an even heavier sound. Far Beyond Driven (1994) debuted at number one on the Billboard 200.
Power metal is a subgenre of heavy metal combining characteristics of traditional heavy metal with speed metal, often within symphonic context. Generally, power metal is characterized by a faster, lighter, and more uplifting sound, in contrast with the heaviness and dissonance prevalent for example in extreme metal. Power metal bands usually have anthem-like songs with fantasy-based subject matter and strong choruses, thus creating a theatrical, dramatic and emotionally "powerful" sound. The term was first used in the middle of the 1980s and refers to two different but related styles: the first pioneered and largely practiced in North America with a harder sound similar to speed metal, and a later more widespread and popular style based in Europe, South America and Japan, with a lighter, more melodic sound and frequent use of keyboards.

Boris is a Japanese experimental band formed in 1992 in Tokyo and composed of drummer Atsuo Mizuno, guitarist/bassist Takeshi Ohtani and guitarist/keyboardist Wata. All three members participate in vocal performance. The band is named after a song of the same name on the Melvins' 1991 album Bullhead. Their debut album Absolutego was released in 1996 on their own record label Fangs Anal Satan, followed by 24 more studio albums on various labels around the world.
Gian Pyres is a British guitarist, best known for his work with extreme metal band Cradle of Filth for which he recorded guitars for Cruelty and the Beast (1998), Midian (2000), Bitter Suites to Succubi (2001) and Lovecraft & Witch Hearts (2002). He appeared on their DVDs Heavy, Left-Handed and Candid (2001), Live Bait for the Dead (2001) and Peace Through Superior Firepower (2005), and appeared in Alex Chandon's Cradle of Fear (2001). Tommy Victor is the lead singer and guitarist for the heavy metal band Prong that he founded in New York City in 1986 as well as the guitarist for the doom metal band Danzig. In the late 1980s Victor worked as a sound engineer at the trendy venue, CBGB in New York City. After the release of Rude Awakening in 1996, Prong disbanded and Victor moved to Los Angeles but continued to release new Prong records. He took a break from Prong during which Victor worked alongside rock musicians including Rob Zombie, Marilyn Manson, Trent Reznor and Glenn Danzig. Since 2012's Carved Into Stone, Prong have been very active again, releasing albums and touring relentlessly. 2013 saw the band release their Official Bootleg -- Unleashed In The West album which featured re-recordings of 17 classic Prong tracks. The next studio album, Ruining Lives was released in 2014, and 2015 saw the band release their first ever covers album entitled Songs from the Black Hole. Victor is also currently working with Glenn Danzig on his upcoming Danzig album. He is also part of the hard rock, heavy metal, hardcore punk and punk rock supergroup Teenage Time Killers.
Denis "Piggy" D'Amour was a Canadian guitarist. D'Amour was a member of the Canadian heavy metal band Voivod from its inception in 1982 until his death from colon cancer in 2005, aged 45.
This is a list of Goa'uld technologies in the Stargate franchise. The Goa'uld are the main adversaries for most of the run of Stargate SG-1. They scavenged or conquered most of their advanced technologies from other races. However, there are innovators amongst the Goa'uld; Anubis and Ba'al in particular have been depicted with a great deal of technological ingenuity. Rather than being designed as practical, many Goa'uld devices, such as the staff weapon, are designed to have higher visual impact, meant to intimidate and reinforce their position as gods to their followers. Some pieces of Goa'uld technology, such as the hand device and the healing device, respond only to mental commands and require naqahdah in the bloodstream of the user to operate.
Bruce Franklin is a founding member and guitarist for the American Doom Metal band Trouble. In 1979 Bruce Franklin formed the band with his hometown friends Eric Wagner, Rick Wartell, Jeff Olson and Ian Brown. After touring the Midwest and gaining popularity, Trouble was signed to Metal Blade Records in 1983. Franklin's main guitar is a 1964 Cherry Gibson SG.

The senior editor and co-founder of Brave Words & Bloody Knuckles, he has additionally written over twenty books that both critically evaluate heavy metal and document its history. He has been called "heavy metal's most widely recognized journalist" by his publisher. Popoff presently lives in Toronto, Ontario.
