The Sachsen Arena (often styled SACHSENarena) is a sports arena in Riesa, Germany.
It opened in 2004. Under a sponsorship deal in effect until 2012, it was originally named Erdgas Arena. It holds 5,500 people. It is primarily used for ice hockey. It is used for many world level dance competitions called the World Dance Championships run by the International Dance Organization, including a showdance and tap dance competition in which representatives of as many as 50 different countries vie to become "World Champion". This is the only official world championships and is recognized as being "the Olympics of dance".
Since 2015, it has also been the home of the International Darts Open, one of the many events of the PDC European Tour.

The Stampede Corral was a multi-purpose venue in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Located on the grounds of Stampede Park, the arena was completed in 1950 at a cost of C$1.25 million to replace Victoria Arena as the home of the Calgary Stampeders minor professional hockey club, which hosted their Western Hockey League games for years. The Corral was built and is still owned by the not-for-profit Calgary Exhibition & Stampede organization, which leases the underlying land at $1/year from the city of Calgary. Seating 6,475, plus standing room, it was used during the annual Calgary Stampede, with a variety of entertainment events in each year's daily ENMAX Corral Show.

The 2010 U.S. Figure Skating Championships took place between January 14 and 24 at the Spokane Veterans Memorial Arena in Spokane, Washington with AT&T as the title sponsor. Skaters competed in four disciplines – men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing – across three levels: senior, junior, and novice. Medals were awarded in four colors: gold (first), silver (second), bronze (third), and pewter (fourth).
IceWorks is an ice arena in Aston, Pennsylvania USA, 15 minutes southwest of downtown Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and 10 minutes northeast of Wilmington, Delaware. IceWorks Skating Complex opened in October 1997. The building consists of four ice surfaces, a full-service restaurant, and other amenities.
FIDE titles are awarded by the international chess governing body FIDE for outstanding performance. The highest such title is Grandmaster (GM). Titles generally require a combination of Elo rating and norms. Once awarded, titles are held for life except in cases of fraud or cheating. Open titles may be earned by all players, while women's titles are restricted to female players. Many strong female players hold both open and women's titles. John Cain Arena is a multi-purpose sports and entertainment arena located within Melbourne Park in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. It is the second-largest venue and show court for the Australian Open, the first Grand Slam professional tennis tournament held each calendar year. The compulsory dance (CD), now called the pattern dance, is a part of the figure skating segment of ice dance competitions in which all the couples or solo dancers perform the same standardized steps and holds to music of a specified tempo and genre. One or more compulsory dances were usually skated as the first phase of ice dancing competitions. The 2009–10 season was the final season in which the segment was included in International Skating Union (ISU) junior and senior level competition. In June 2010, the ISU replaced the name "compulsory dance" with "pattern dance" for ice dance, and merged it into the short dance (SD) beginning in the 2010–11 figure skating season.
