Sarajevo Bypass is part of European route E73, and it connects the A1 with Sarajevska Cesta and Sarajevo International Airport.There would be 2 interchanges. One is located in XII Transversal, and other one is located on A1, and these two interchanges will be connected with exit road from A1.

Sarajevo International Airport is the main international airport in Bosnia and Herzegovina, serving Sarajevo, capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is located 3.3 NM southwest of the Sarajevo railway station and some 6.5 NM west of downtown Sarajevo in the Ilidža municipality, suburb of Butmir. In 2022, 1,377,348 passengers travelled through the airport, compared to 323,499 in 2001.
Meadowhall Interchange is a transport interchange located in north-east Sheffield, consisting of a combined heavy rail station, tram stop and bus and coach station. The second-busiest heavy rail station in the city in terms of passenger numbers, Meadowhall Interchange provides connections between National Rail services, the Sheffield Supertram light rail network, intercity coach services and the city bus network.

A diverging diamond interchange (DDI), also called a double crossover diamond interchange (DCD), is a subset of diamond interchange in which the opposing directions of travel on the non-freeway road cross each other on either side of the interchange so that traffic crossing the freeway on the overpass or underpass is operating on the opposite driving side from that which is customary for the jurisdiction. European route E73 forms part of the United Nations International E-road network, connecting Hungary and eastern Croatia to Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Adriatic Sea in the vicinity of the port of Ploče. This 679-kilometre (422 mi) route is also designated as the Pan-European Corridor Vc, a branch of the fifth Pan-European corridor. The route largely consists of two-lane roads with at-grade intersections, although in the 2000s, about a third of the route was upgraded to motorway standards. The remainder of the route is currently being upgraded in all the countries spanned. The longest part of this corridor goes through Bosnia and Herzegovina and is widely touted as a road instrumental to the development of the country. As such, and given its geographical location, the road has occasionally been dubbed as the kičma Bosne. The road also serves as the shortest connection of the eastern and southern parts of Croatia.
The European route E15 is part of the United Nations international E-road network. It is a north–south "reference road", running from Inverness, Scotland south through England and France to Algeciras, Spain. Along most of its route between Paris and London, the road parallels the LGV Nord and High Speed 1. Its length is 2,300 miles (3,700 km).
The A1 motorway is the longest motorway in Croatia, spanning 476.3 kilometers (296.0 mi). As it connects the nation's capital Zagreb, in the north of the country, to the second largest city Split on the shore of the Adriatic Sea, the motorway represents a major north–south transportation corridor in Croatia and a significant part of the Adriatic–Ionian motorway. Apart from Zagreb and Split, the A1 motorway runs near a number of major Croatian cities, provides access to several national parks or nature parks, world heritage sites, and numerous resorts, especially along the Adriatic Coast. National significance of the motorway is reflected through its positive economic impact on the cities and towns it connects as well as its importance to tourism in Croatia.

D52 state road, located in Lika region of Croatia connecting cities and towns of Otočac and Korenica, to the state road network of Croatia, and to A1 motorway at Otočac interchange (via D50. The road is 41.1 km long.
Stup Interchange is a cloverleaf interchange in Sarajevo. It connects two different routes and some important locations in the largest city in Bosnia and Herzegovina. This interchange is the biggest interchange in Balkans after Butila Interchange that is two miles (3.2 km) away from this interchange. Stup Interchange is connecting Sarajevo International Airport with M17 Road, A1 Motorway, Western Sarajevo (Ilidža), Dobrinja, Boljakov Potok, Rajlovac Industrial Zone and Center of city.
