The Schouwburgplein (Theatre Square) is situated in the heart of the city of Kortrijk, Belgium, and is flanked by the municipal theatre (Stadsschouwburg) and several historic buildings. The rectangular square was formed after the demolition of the old Lakenhalle (Clothes Hall) (built in 1411), which was severely damaged by friendly fire in 1944.
The square is situated between the Doorniksestraat and the Havermarkt and occupies an area of 5,060 square metres. Today, the square is a pedestrian area with several bars and outdoor cafés. Underneath the square there is a large parking garage, which was built in 1993.
On top of the entrance to this parking garage, there is a curved fountain, De Golf ("the Wave"), sculpted by the artist Olivier Strebelle.

New Haven Coliseum was a sports and entertainment arena located in downtown New Haven, Connecticut. Construction began in 1968 and was completed in 1972. The Coliseum was officially closed on September 1, 2002, by Mayor John DeStefano Jr., and demolished by implosion on January 20, 2007.

The Rose Quarter is a 30-acre (12-hectare) sports and entertainment district located in Portland's Lloyd District on the east bank of the Willamette River, just east of downtown. The Grote Markt is the central square of Kortrijk, West Flanders, Belgium. Its location on the crossing of some of Kortrijk's most famous and most touristic spots makes the Grote Markt one of the city's busiest squares. It has been pedestrian-friendly since its redevelopment in 1999–2000 and the largest part of the square is now a pedestrian area.
The Belfry of Kortrijk is a medieval bell tower in the historical centre of Kortrijk, Belgium. One of the city's most prominent symbols, the belfry formerly housed a treasury and the municipal archives, and served as an observation post for spotting fires and other danger. A narrow, steep staircase, accessible by the public without any entry fee, leads to the top of the building, which nowadays leans about a bit to the west. In 1999, the belfry was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List as part of the Belfries of Belgium and France site, in recognition of the civil, not religious, importance and architecture of the belfries in the region.
