Seth Woodbury MacFarlane is an American actor, screenwriter, producer, film director, singer, and animator. He is the creator of the television series Family Guy (1999–present) and The Orville (2017–present), and co-creator of the television series American Dad! (2005–present) and The Cleveland Show (2009–2013). He also wrote, directed, and starred in the films Ted (2012), its sequel Ted 2 (2015), and A Million Ways to Die in the West (2014).

He has also recently stated on "Did You Know Anime?" on YouTube that he would reprise his starring role as Tai Kamiya's English voice actor in Digimon Fusion. The company's productions include the animated series Family Guy, American Dad!, the Family Guy spin-off The Cleveland Show, the live-action sitcom The Winner, the science documentary series Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey and the sci-fi comedy drama series The Orville. More recently, it signed a deal with NBCUniversal. The company will move from its longtime home at the 20th Century Fox Studios lot in Century City to NBCUniversal's Universal City Studios in Universal City. Erica Huggins will continue to head Fuzzy Door as president. MacFarlane's two animated series Family Guy broadcast on FOX and American Dad! broadcast on TBS will continue to be produced on the FOX studios lot while his live action series The Orville which is scheduled to air its second extended season on Hulu will continue to be filmed at Universal City Studios and in West Lake, California.

Mars Needs Moms is a 2011 American 3D computer-animated science fiction film produced by ImageMovers Digital and released by Walt Disney Pictures. Based on the Berkeley Breathed book of the same title, the film is centered on Milo, a nine-year-old boy who, after being grounded, finally comes to understand the needs of family, and has to rescue his mother after she is abducted by Martians. It was co-written and directed by Simon Wells. The film stars both Seth Green and newcomer Seth Dusky (voice) as Milo. The voice cast also includes Dan Fogler, Elisabeth Harnois, Mindy Sterling and Joan Cusack. This was the last film by ImageMovers Digital before it was re-absorbed into ImageMovers.

Laugh It Up, Fuzzball: The Family Guy Trilogy consists of three episode specials of the American animated sitcom Family Guy. The episodes are a crossover and parody retelling of the original Star Wars trilogy Star Wars (1977), The Empire Strikes Back (1980), and Return of the Jedi (1983). The first episode, "Blue Harvest" (2007), was released to commemorate the original film's 30th anniversary. Due to its popular success, it was followed by two direct-to-video sequels: "Something, Something, Something, Dark Side" (2009) and "It's a Trap!" (2010), which were subsequently aired on television, in edited versions, omitting most profanity and sexual references. The trilogy was released on Blu-ray and DVD in the United States on December 21, 2010. Its title comes from a phrase Han Solo said to Chewbacca in The Empire Strikes Back as the latter was laughing at the former.
Star Wars Detours is an unaired American CGI-animated comedy series. It is differentiated from the other Star Wars animated series in that it is a parody of the franchise. It offers a comedic take on what happened between the prequel trilogy and the original trilogy. The series was produced by Lucasfilm Animation in collaboration with Robot Chicken creators Seth Green and Matthew Senreich. Although 39 episodes of the show have been produced, their release has been on hold since 2013, following Disney's acquisition of Lucasfilm.

He was murdered by unknown perpetrators for unknown reasons, but police suspected he had been the victim of an attempted robbery.
