Sevenoaks is a local government district in Kent, England, in the far west of the county. Its council is based in the town of Sevenoaks.

Sevenoaks School is a highly selective coeducational independent school in Sevenoaks, Kent. It is the second oldest non-denominational school in the United Kingdom, dating back to 1432, only behind Oswestry (1407). Over 1,000 day pupils and boarders attend, ranging in age from 11 to 18 years. There are approximately equal numbers of boys and girls. The current headteacher is Katy Ricks. During the 1960s the school was a pioneer in developing a variety of approaches to education and in community involvement, notably in attracting international students - today pupils come from over 40 countries.

The Knole Academy is a secondary school in Sevenoaks, Kent, England that was opened in September 2010, as a result of the amalgamation of the Wildernesse School and Bradbourne School. The two sites for each of the previous schools was used for the construction of the new Academy buildings which were completed in 2015. When the two schools merged not all of the students from Wildernesse moved over, the merging of all students was only completed in September 2011. Since then the site at Knole East has been used the construction of Trinity School, Sevenoaks and Weald of Kent Grammar School.
