Elikplim Yao Atiemo (born in Accra, Ghana), better known by his stage name Shaker (Lil Shaker), is a Ghanaian recording artist, songwriter, producer and performer. He is currently signed to Ghana's biggest record label and multimedia company, BBnZ Live which also have artist like EL. He has hits like ‘I No Dey See U Saf’ and ‘Madakraa’ and also produced Sarkodie ‘Talk Of Gh’ and ‘Lies’. [2]

Early life

Elikplim Yao Atiemo was born in Accra , the capital of Ghana to Ghanaian parents and natives of the Volta Region. He started his musical career at age 15. He is currently signed to Ghana's biggest record label and multimedia company, BBnZ Live. [3]

Gh hiphop, Gh rap or Ghana hip hop is a hip hop genre, subculture and art movement which developed in Ghana during the late 1990s. The hiphop genre came into existence in Ghana through Reggie Rockstone, who is known as the hiplife father and other notable musicians such as Jayso and Ball J. It first came to Ghana as Hiplife where Reggie Rockstone introduced a fusion of hiphop beats with African sounds to create a whole new genre. Hiplife is different from Western Hiphop because it involves local dialects such as Twi, Ga, Ewe, Hausa and broken-English, popularly known in Ghana as "pidgin". Kwesi Arthur Ghanaian rapper

Emmanuel Kwesi Danso Arthur Junior, known professionally as Kwesi Arthur, is a Ghanaian rapper, singer and songwriter from Tema, Ghana. He rose to fame in 2017 with the hit single “Grind day” which received wide spread acclaim and a co-sign from rap heavyweights Sarkodie and Medikal. In 2019, his second EP Live from Nkrumah Krom Vol II garnered more than 2 million streams in the first week of its release.

Gemini Orleans is a Ghanaian hip hop artist who is known for the singles Never forget me, O day O day which features Edem and Sarkodie. He was featured on Sarkodie's Makye Album which won the Album of the Year in the 2010 Ghana Music Awards. Elorm Kabu Amenyah professionally known as $pacely is a Ghanaian rapper and singer. He is a member of trap music collective La Meme Gang. He has collaborated with Kwesi Arthur, Nxwrth, RJZ, Pappy Kojo, Kiddblack, KwakuBS, Kofi Mole and Darkovibes. He released his debut EP Fine$$e or Be Fine$$ed in 2019, which features songs like "Somimu" and "Uber" featuring Cina Soul and Joey B. respectively.
