Shangoul And Mangoul (Persian : Shangoul O Mangoul) is a 2000 Iranian animated film directed by Farkhondeh Torabi and Merteza Ahadi. Its runtime is 18 minutes and it is based on a Persian folktale.

In 2000 the film won the Adult's Jury Award - Certificate of Merit for Short Film/Video - Animation at the Chicago International Children's Film Festival and in 2001 it won the Silver Poznan Goat for Best Animation Film at the Ale Kino! - International Young Audience Film Festival (Poland).

Piotr Dumała is a Polish film director and animator. He is noted for his animation technique. While training to be a sculptor, he discovered that scratching images into painted plaster could be a beautiful way to create animations. This is only one technique of a method called destructive animation, where one image is erased and re-drawn to create the next frame in the sequence. William Kentridge is another artist who works in this destructive way. Dumała's main themes, and the way to show them, recall ostensibly the world of writer Franz Kafka. His film Crime and Punishment was included in the Animation Show of Shows. In 1992 his film Franz Kafka won the Grand Prix for best short film at the World Festival of Animated Film - Animafest Zagreb, and his film Hipopotamy received Grand Prize for Independent Short Animation at 2014 Ottawa International Animation Festival.

Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf: The Super Adventure, is a 2009 Chinese animated children's comedy film directed by Sung Pong Choo and William Kan. The film was released on January 16, 2009, close to the Chinese New Year holiday. It is the first in a series of films based on the popular Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf animated television series and is followed by Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf: The Tiger Prowess a year later.

I, Pet Goat II is a 2012 Canadian animated short film written, directed, produced and edited by Louis Lefebvre. The title is a reference to The Pet Goat, the book President Bush read to children at Emma Booker School in Sarasota, Florida at the time of the September 11 attacks.
Alê Abreu is a Brazilian film director, screenwriter, character animator, film editor and producer. Sírius, his first short film, debuted at the 1993 Anima Mundi as the only Brazilian animation that year. It won the Best Film Award at the Festival de Cine para Niños y Jovenes and was also screened at the Mostra Internacional de Cinema São Paulo and at the section Animation for Children of the Hiroshima International Animation Festival. His second short film, Espantalho, released in 1998, won the 3rd Best Brazilian Animation at the Anima Mundi, the Best Art Direction Award at the Brazilian Film Festival of Miami, and was nominated for Best Animated Feature at the 1st Grande Prêmio Cinema Brasil. Ali Zare Ghanatnowi is an Iranian film director, screenwriter, translator, cinema teacher, graphic designer, cameraman, and film producer. An active film-maker from 2000, he had been involved in over twenty films, including animations, shorts, and documentaries. Zare attained critical acclaim for directing Empty View (2017) and Dad's Fragile Doll (2013) which was awarded the best animation of International Open Film Festival (IOFF). His other film Empty View has won multiple international awards, including the best animation of Asians On Film. The music part in Empty View is made by Mohammadreza Aligholi. Empty view has been in the official selections for the best animation in Edmonton International Film Festival in Canada. This festival is among those confirmed by Oscar Academy that is held every year in Edmonton, Alberta. Ali Zare Ghanat Nowi, who had achieved this before by Dad's Fragile Doll being selected in Anima Mundi (event), now again reached this place by Empty View.
