American Legion Memorial Stadium is a 10,500-seat stadium located on 7th Street in the Elizabeth community of Charlotte, North Carolina. It is located on a complex with the Grady Cole Center. Both are located next to Central Piedmont Community College. Independence Park Stadium, a tiny public baseball stadium, is also close by. Memorial Stadium is mainly used for high school sporting events and also serves as a public venue. Before the construction of nearby Bank of America Stadium in 1996, Memorial Stadium was Charlotte's largest outdoor stadium, and is still the largest municipal venue in the city.
Grady Cole Center is a small civic center located on the campus of Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte, North Carolina. The 3,000 seat center is located near the city's center, and can host several types of events. It was built in 1954 to replace the Charlotte Armory Auditorium, which had been destroyed by fire. Originally the Charlotte Park Center, it was renamed in 1987 in honor of WBT Radio morning personality, Grady Cole. The arena is a part of the Mecklenburg County Sportsplex, which also includes the American Legion Memorial Stadium.

Sharon Speedway is a 3/8-mile dirt oval race track located in Hartford Township, Ohio and named for the nearby city of Sharon, Pennsylvania. It opened in 1929, making it one of the oldest continuously running dirt ovals in the United States. The track is currently part-owned and operated by the Blaney family, which includes NASCAR driver Dave Blaney. Blaney's father and former driver, Lou Blaney, originally assisted in the operation of the track. Lou Blaney died on January 25, 2009.
Sharon Johnston Park is a county park located in north Madison County, Alabama near New Market, Alabama, about 20 minutes from downtown Huntsville, Alabama. The park project was originated and developed by former county commission chairman James Record and the Madison County Commission in the 1970s. The Commission along with the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources entered into an agreement with the Johnston family, previous owners of the park property, to dedicate Sharon Johnston Memorial Park on June 4, 1979.

The church was famous for its "ski slope" arch in the front part of the Church on its previous building. Now, SouthPark Church is famous for its bold plan to redevelop its property into a mixed-used development by bringing in partners Childress Klein. The new Church will sit in the middle of the property surrounded by local business. SouthPark Church currently meets at Regal Phillips Place on Sunday mornings, with two services: a traditional service at 9:00 am and a modern service at 10:30 am.
Cherokee Removal Memorial Park is a public park in Meigs County, Tennessee that is dedicated in memory of the Cherokee who were forced to emigrate from their ancestral lands during the Cherokee removal, in an event that came to be known as the Trail of Tears. It was established in 2005, and has since expanded.
